    What shapewear do you recommend?

@cocoa8utter@Elode@Kathy812 Thank you, thank you ladies! Just trying to see how much I will need to plan in my budget for clothing in the spring! I can't believe that for the first time in my life i am looking forward to spring and summer, and getting a new wardrobe! I'm not going new tho, plan on shopping at consignment shops, Goodwill, or cheap retailers like 5 and Under, Ross, TJ Max, etc. i know that I'll be going thru different sizes all the time and don't want to spend a fortune for nothing. Think Spring my friends! And again, thanks for your advice!

    HELLO JANUARY SLEEVERS!

My surgery is the 26th. Day four of pre-op liquid diet down, 10 to go! I just take it one day at a time! Best of luck to you all!
  3. @@thegentleoso Congrat's on your 25th! Best of luck on your surgery! You will be rockin' the tux at your renewal! Happy Honeymoon!
  4. Congratulations on your 25th! That is so sweet that you want to look good for your renewed bride! Best of luck on your upcoming surgery. You will be a fine looking groom by November! Enjoy your new journey!
  5. So far I see three of us sisters for the 26th!
  6. Even if I don't reach "smoking hot", I'll settle for medium hot! Still will be quite a difference from the me now! LOL Thanks LOVE! Sesa, I don't think fantasies are bad at all! We want to have a goal in our head of what we want to achieve to help get us there! Fantasize on my friend! Is it wrong to say I kinda fantasize about this being a real possibility this summer? I want to wear a bathing suit that doesn't have a skirt on it!
  7. @@L.o.v.e Thanks LOVE! Day two is almost done with! Just enjoying a bowl of cream of potato soup that has been whipped to a full cream! Kinda glad to be going thru this right now. The warm soups are a comfort on these frigid days! Couldn't imagine doing them in hot, humid days!
  8. Prayers for a successful surgery and speedy recovery! The surgery will be over before you know it and you will be the person we go to for strength as our dates get closer! Good Luck! How did it go Ali?
  9. @ssflbelle Thank you for your encouragement! I need it!
  10. @@ssflbelle Day one of liquid pre-op down, 13 to go! The pre-op is not Clear liquids, it is sugar free Jello, SF pudding, cream Soups (no chunks), thinned cream of wheat, broths, decaf coffee or tea, SF popsicles, nonfat milk. But I have to watch how much I eat because I am limited to 800 calories.
  11. @@ssflbelle Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear belle, Happy Birthday to you! One last fling on your birthday! Have fun!
  12. @sbg224 So happy for you to hit this first big milestone! I can't wait to get there! Sorry about the knee surgery, and how it may have held you back on your exercise. I'm sure you will make up for it as soon as you are all healed up! I agree with Airstream88 that maybe your trainer could focus on upper body strength training for now.
  13. @ssflbelle So great to hear from you! Hang in there, the 11th is only a couple days away! I start my liquid diet on Tuesday, and am anxious for surgery on the 26th! Has anyone cheated on their pre-op diet phase, and still been OK for sugery? My fiance, daughter, and a friend are meeting for Breakfast two days before surgery at my favorite restaurant, and I'm wondering if it would kill me to have one last breakfast. Not going overboard, just the normal eggs, bacon, toast and coffee. Thanks BP friends for your advice!
  14. @@sarah2haynes@gmail.com My nutritionist said a sip is the size of a small plastic pill cup like they put medications in in the hospital. Congrat's to those who have already been thru the surgery! You give me inspiration! Prayers for speedy recovery! Those of us scheduled other days this month, good luck and hang in there thru the liquid pre-op phase. I start mine the 14th for 2 wks, and I know I will be a bear! LOL
  15. Has anyone cheated two days before surgery during the liquid pre-op diet? I want to join my family for one last yummy Breakfast before surgery at my favorite restaurant.
  16. Just my opinion, but I'd be leaning towards bottled so that there is no question. You don't want to be sick with a healing tummy!
  17. Congratulations and Welcome! Houston, let the final countdown begin to lift off, 10.......
  18. Happy New Year everyone! May 2016 bring us all health, happiness, and smaller waist sizes! LOL
  19. Best wishes for a speedy recovery! Update us when you can and tell us about your surgery experience!
  20. I am the 26th too my sleeve sister! I start the pre-op diet on the 14th, have my pre-op testing on the 19th, and I'm ready to take that propofol nap for a couple hours on the 26th! LOL I am hoping the pain is not too bad afterward. My surgeon already said he removes most of the air put into the abdominal cavity, so I'm hoping not to have that gas shoulder pain I've heard many suffer from. I wish everyone on Bariatric Pal a very happy and healthy New Year!
  21. Good luck with your scan! Thank goodness my testing is all done. Tomorrow I finally see the surgeon who will actually be doing the sugery, and he'll give me the dates for the pre-op clear liquid diet. I dread that! I have my pre-surgery bloodwork and chest xray on the 19th.
  22. Are you nervous or excited? Right now I am as excited as a lion with a raw steak! I'm sure as the date approaches I will get more nervous! Happy New Year!
  23. Are you nervous or excited? At this point I am as excited as a lion with a steak, but I'm sure as the date approaches I'll get more nervous! Happy New Year!
  24. @@Primha You are right, the waiting does suck! And my Christmas wish for you is that you hear ring-a-ling-ling on your phone soon! Until then, try to concentrate on the holiday, and Celebrate the fact that this will be your last Christmas spent as an overweight person! Next year we will both be rockin' Christmas thongs (the butt floss kind, not thongs for the feet!) with bells on them! LOL

    Shoulder pain

I'm curious too. I bought the Gas X strips also, anticipating the shoulder pain, but would love to hear what others found that helped them. Thanks for posting this question!
