  1. Listen to your surgeon.I didn't back in 2004 ...wanted the" less invasive procedure"...proved to be the worst decision and now I have finally gotten what I should have done to begin with.The bypass...Gold Standard.When yo have a lot of weight to lose why play games.?

  4. They make you jump through hoops but very good...you need referral for everything .They covered my entire surgery.You have few Doctor choices.I had to go all the way to South Jersey...well worth it...start with your PCP.They need to document your diet attempts from 3 to 6 months on average.

Hi Do your research and don't let anyone tell you what procedure not to get.I am a cancer survivor and chose the bypass....so so much for someone telling you not to get that procedure...Do your research.The sleeve is working nicely for a friend of mine.YOU make he decision because you have to live your life accordingly.

You have to lose the weight.You have started to take it seriously and that is the first step to taking charge and handling the situation.You need to take charge.Do your research and decide with your dr which procedure is best for you.Do your research and ask many questions. I am a revision from a failed lapband to bypass which I am happy with and works for me. I have a friend who opted for the sleeve and she is happy with her results. YOU decide which procedure is best for you.These are all major operations and your way of life will/must change.

  17. I had my surgery 12/28...I am on full linguistic and I am not loving any of these protein drinks....they all have either stevia or succoralose and I hate them....
  18. I had my surgery at 51...this is my new beginning.
