  1. I am 4 weeks post op and I find that I have a very.Blah taste in my mouth.Constantly.I feel like my tastebuds have changed as well.
  2. Please ask you Doctor more questions.What procedure do you want?Its your body and you have to live with him.Find out more.I know very little about DS but you need feel comfortable.Take control.

  5. I think you may have an acidic stomach.Try cutting back on all fruits and acidic foods including spicy.You need to be alkaline.Are you taking prebiotics?The good type that are refrigerated and upwards of 20 billion?

  8. Hang in there.Congratulations on your upcoming surgery.You are so honest and straightforward And I love it. People say dumb ass** they just can't give a compliment and keep it moving...no filter ,no manners. Don't you worry in 4 month you will be in a nice zone.You will lose weight and the comments will come.Some will still be dumb as well.It is great that you and your husband is doing WLS.Your time will come. Keep me posted.You will be just fine.Say goodbye to your present because the future is a whole new story.
  9. I mourn food.I am not unusually hungry but I mourn big gulps of Water and the embrace food in a way that I love.I have also lost the love of cooking. This is not an easy surgery and and it is not painless.My body smell has even changed.It is a big adjustment that cannot be explained .It must be experienced to fully understand it. I have my moments of depression but I am mindful to "snap out of it"...I must lose this weight and be healthy.This is why I did this.
  10. I am so bored with soups .Any ideas for creative tasteful dishes for breakfast,lunch and dinner? I am so bored with my routine.
  11. Since surgery.Anything sweet repels me.My tastebuds have changed since surgery.
  12. At 24 years of age ...the speed of weight loss is going to be much easier than a 52 year old!Any day.
