  2. I have been very strict.Water only ,occasionally I drink coconut water.I would drink Isopure drinks pre op now I can't stand it and I hate that stinging aftertaste.The same with sports drinks....I hate that aftertaste.
  3. No way!I was 51 back in Dec.2015.You will feel so much better.It is a slower steady weight loss as you get older but after the torture of the lapband ...it's easy!!!I feel 100% better.

    You will dump if you eat too much.I am on a hi protein low carb diet.You must eliminate anything with sugar as much as possible.

    Don't listen to "Negatives"... If you sit there listening to reasons why you should sit and stay fat and unhealthy then so be it..but if you are trying to take control of your health and life in order to "live" then step forward. This is the main reason I didn't choose to divulge...too many Dr.Phil's without a clue.

    I don't eat beef but on Amazon I found Nicks sticks....free range turkey jerk Snacks.I tried Vermont brand and yuck. I must say jerky is very expensive.

    I had my surgery on a Monday home on Wednesday last thing you want to do is push yourself...after surgery you are vulnerable to infections etc.?..Rest is essential.

    Thank you! And thank you for saying I look healthy. People around me tell me I look sick and it hurts my heart. Last night I was talking with a group of female friends and they were all fired up about my weight etc, "you are too skinny. " " you look sick " etc. so I ask them how come when I was obese none told me I was u healthy ? I don't understand peoplePeople are silly...you look great and healthy.Nothing "too skinny or sick about you"!!!Maybe shock,awe and jealousy comes to mind...congratulations...you did it!

Yes...losing is so much better than picking up around or 2 every few weeks....and I don't miss any of the torture of the band.I can eat anything but I have been real strict...no breads,no starches,no rice or potatoes,pastas etc.I only have organic steel cut oatmeal in the morning.Otherwise,protein and vegetables.About once a month I may have a serving of beans or lentil soup....I have started incorporating nuts but this is no easy task....very disciplined....actually my struggle is with water... Slow Loss But glad to be losing!
