  9. Hello to all, I was sleeved back in August and since then have lost nearly 50 lbs. I am eating fairly well and healthy, take all required Vitamins and am going through rapid and noticeable hair loss. I thought the Biotin 10,000 mcg/daily tabs would help but they haven't been helping me much. Any thoughts and advice for those of you who may have gone through the same experience...any hope of stopping the hair loss or getting my hair to its normal state? Thanks for reading this and for your responses! Warm regards, Luckystar
  10. @@glitter eyes, thanks for the info...Im heading over to Amazon now to check it out. I too would mix it with sugar free juice.
  11. @@Margie122, thats amazing that you lost 39lbs pre-surgery --and a total of 80lbs! Thanks for the advice on eating Protein first and excersize, while I try to eat my Proteins first, thats not always the case. As for excersize, I am only walking around to run errands and such, have not yet joined a gym but plan to do so in a few weeks. Thanks for your response! And much continued success to you on your weight loss and health!
  12. Hello to all, and congratulations on your weight loss! I was sleeved back on August 3rd, and since then have lost 50 lbs post-surgery, 58lbs since starting this journey in April of this year. I am eating fairly well and healthy, take all required Vitamins. I am happy about the weight loss but I am also going through rapid and noticeable hair loss. I thought the Biotin 10,000 mcg/daily tabs would help but they haven't been helping me much. I havent been to the gym in order to maximize weight loss but that is on my list of goals for the next few weeks. Thanks for reading and for your responses! Much continueed success to you all on your weight loss journey. Warm regards, Luckystar
  13. @, thank you for responding! Thanks for the laugh, I needed that...you are right weighing less is far better than worrying about hair loss. I see you have loss a great amount of weight, would you say it is attributed to your daily dietary intake and excersize? I seem to be at a bit of a stall and was wondering what I am doing wrong, since I imagined, I too, would have lost much more weight. To date Ilve lost 50lbs since surgery and 58lbs since starting on my journey. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  14. @@glitter eyes, thanks for your response. I will have to try the marine collagen to see if it willl work for me. How does it taste? Is it mixable in anything other than Water -- say, juice? Thanks!
  15. @@MzB, thanks for your response. I also hope that your hair starts to come back as well.
  16. @@BarrySue, thanks for writing me and for your encouraging words. I sure hope you are right when you say it is temporary and that the hair will grow back since its worisome for me. Congratulations to you too on your weight loss journey and may you continue to have much success.
  17. @@Hello new me, Thanks for your response! Good thing you have a head full of thick hair, I already had thin hair to begin with but the loss of hair is excessive. I am hopeful it will grow back for us. As I am afraid of being left without any hair at all at the rate that its falliing out. Good luck to you and congrats on your weight loss!

  21. @@cbruce125 you will lose more weight, dont worry. I have had stalls since my surgery on 8/3. Then in the last two days lost 4 pounds, so suddenly...I am not at a gym , I only take neighborhood walks and hope to join a gym soon, but for the time being I am just eating at the regular texture stage and meauring all my meals. Not all of which consists of diet food but definitely all in moderation.
  22. @@Awjones28, you re doing great a loss of 25 pounds is a lot considering its only been since the end of August that you have been sleeved. As for feeling tired, that will go away just make sure you take all your vitamins. Congrats on your success, wishing you more!
  23. I had my sleeve done on 8/3 also. Doing good so far, thought I might have lost more weight by now, but I will take what I am given. Pre-op had lost 15 pounds, post op have lost 24 pounds. So all together its been a weight loss of 39 pounds since May, and since April: 47 pounds, since back then I was 273 and now I am at 226. Eating regular textured foods now, but ofcourse measured, cannot have more than 4oz of food at any one time; if I do over do it I end up having to throw up some. Just eating in moderation but worried about overall protein intake since it is not at 60-80g daily yet. Will continue to take protein shakes for this lack of intake. Also, not taking in 64oz of fluid, I find this hard to do since plain water makes me somewhat nauseous. But overall, doing ok. I thank you for reading and thank you in advance for any responses to this post.
