  1. Hi everyone, I was revised from sleeve to RNY March 16th due to complications and severe case of GERDS and sadly I'm really regretting I'd rather had kept suffering from previous complications... I have yet to eat anything that I can keep down.... Not to mention my weight loss is at a complete halt for over a month no matter how much I work out....and I'm completely disappointed in both of these surgeries and wish I never had surgery I'm still over 200lbs.... 1 month post op

As of yesterday I am 1 month post op revision from the sleeve to the bypass...... I don't think my body is healing as well as it should be at this point due to me being type 2 diabetic..... I'm having a lot of abdominal pains I'm not sure what's the cause of it but I'm not able to keep food down and I'm pretty much stuck in stage 3 of my diet but for the most part I'm back in stage 1. I've vomited so much lately that I'm afraid to eat anything at first I thought I was eating to fast but that wasn't it, I simply can't eat any food and it's getting harder to get my fluids in now.... I'm really fatigued like all the time and I don't know what to do..... Help ???????????? Sent from my LG-D850 using the BariatricPal App

  8. @@j16 hang in there your time will eventually come just take this time to mentally prepare for all the life changes that need to made and make sure to do add much research as possible about both procedures after all the Doctor makes a suggestion but in the end is your body so the decision should be ultimately yours. I made the mistake of letting my surgeon choose my procedure and things didn't go so well because of other factors the Doctor never discussed with therefore ended up having to have a revision surgery anyway...... So be patient my friend and good luck on your journey

Well I'm officially two weeks out from surgery and I've lost 14lbs thus far... However, I'm still having pain in my stomach not to mention today I got extremely nauseous and began to vomit and this continued for a few hours. Sadly I was suppose to start my soft foods today and I can't so I'm back on clear liquids.... My update sucks... Huh

    Revision Surgery- Sleeve to Bypass

Well I was sleeved May 2014, my deciding factor was severe GERDS which actually completely stopped my weight loss from ever taking place... My sleeve was basically none functioning, I vomited in my sleep every night sometimes during the day this went on for nine months before I decided to start the process of having the revision since none of the meds worked. Since having the revision the GERDS is completely gone and that's a great feeling. I can definitely feel that my stomach is very small and I'm progressing nicely and I'm losing about a pound a day since the day of surgery

    2 day Liquid diet

Hello, everyone I'm a gastric sleeve patient that's had a few complications with the sleeve and I'm now scheduled for a revision to the bypass on March 16th due to those complication... Anyway I'm required to do a 2 liquid diet and I'm concerned about my blood sugar dropping to low because I'll be working up until the day before my surgery and my job requires a lot of moving and lifting and sweating continuously for the first four or five hours not to mention I usually workout an hour a day. Any suggestions that could possibly help with managing my blood sugar and avoiding dehydration prior to surgery Sent from my LG-D850 using the BariatricPal App
