  1.    Niki15 reacted to a post in a topic: My biggest milestone to date...
  2. Good Job!!! I know how amazing that feeling is Bc I recently hit it
  3. I had 3 c-sections...I think this surgery and recovery was a little bit easier. I was so paranoid of something going wrong with this one internally. I would say gastric bypass was easier.
  4. Thanks everyone! I worked out for 30 minutes this morning, and have been eating nothing but protein and water. I weighed myself an hour ago for curiosity and I hit wonderland! Finally lol after 7 years. Now I'm not looking back and I have to keep maintaining progress
  5. How is the scale going to tease me like that. I got back on 2 other times hoping the number would go down, but it didn't . Ughh I've been pushing hard lately to make it to wonderland. Now today I'm going to eat all protein and workout twice. Tomorrow that scale better say 1 something! Lol. *Vent over*
  6. Very amazing and inspiring that you didn't give up, and lost all that weight on your own pre-surgery!
  7. I started walking right away and doing 2 mile walks in the first 2 weeks after surgery, then doing cardio workout videos at 3 weeks lol.
  8. Congratulations!!! I can't wait until the day I hit below 200, I have 27 more lbs to go.
  9. I live in Dallas, Tx, but I'm from McAllen, Tx
  10. I lost 30 lbs 4 weeks out and now I've been at a stall for weeks and I'm frustrated too. It seems like ever since I got off liquids my weight loss stopped, but I'm trying to stay positive.
  11. My advice would be to follow directions like don't eat or drink after midnight, or any directions with medicines. Make sure you are packed and just relax, everything will be great! You will love your new life and the changes in your body. Try to walk every time you can after surgery .
  12. I slipped up a couple of times during my 2 weeks pre-op. The day before I had buffalo wings and cheese fries lol, and I was fine. Everything went perfect with my surgery. I had mine on 6/11/2015.
  13. I had my surgery on 6/11/2015, and I was freaking out also 2 weeks before surgery, and I was feeling scared and emotional. I think it's normal to feel that way. I have 3 kids so I was scared, but everything went perfect and it was the best decision I made. I am down 40 lbs and have had no problems. The 21 day liquid diet went easier then I thought it would. It was actually pretty easy. My sleep apnea pretty much went away and I don't use a CPAP machine anymore. You will be just fine .
  14. I got my gastric bypass through Tricare reserve select
  15. Thank you for the advice, I didn't think of the fact that my body is trying to hold on to everything.
