Thursday --routine-off- due to Dr's visits and stuff:lunch: ;) B: 2 eggs w/cheese S: polly-o string cheese, slim jim L: (at 4:30pm) huge rib eye steak (starving-just got back home) D: maybe a unjury shake --not sure, but no more steak I think I was really freaked out after my:Banane20: nutrition class, when they told me that after surgery for weeks (once eating real food) I should only eat 4 tablespoons of food per meal 3 X a day. WHAT THE #$%@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you all so much. I feel so loved.I went to my 1st 4 hour nutrition class for Dr. Moazzez. Everybody else there had a date but me :drama: . But I feel much better now. I again called my insurance company, (these people better hurry up and approve, cuz I will call them to death), to make sure they sent the letter to my Dr's office that lists all I need. I feel sorry for Pam too, cuz I'm gonna haunt her to death until this is done. Love you all again...thanks..I know I can be kinda emotional

I have done tons of research on treadmills. I just bought a $4,000 one. The weight limit is placed in accordace to the size and type of engine on the machine. If you are significanly over the weight limit , it will damage the motor. It also has a lot to do with the lift power on the incline. Go for it!! Once you get moving you will be under that weight limit in no time!! :clap2: :clap2:

:update: Ok after the monk fish and shrimp (was very good) :cheated:about 3 hrs later I ate 3 ribs. Darn my mother for making them!!!! :frusty: :hungry:

I just had my consultation...some of the things I asked were: 1: What compliacations have your patients had? 2: (I'm very concerned with port infection) Who does the fills and what proceedures are taken to lessen the occurance of infection? Hopefully only the surgeon does or if not find out the level of specialty the person giving fils has. 3: Is a pre-surgery diet required 4: How long has he worked with his surgical team / anestisialogist (sp?) 5: Is the facility a "center of excellence" if not...why not 6: (as stated above) schedule of follow-up 7: What is proceedure should you have an emergency (something severly stuck etc.) and you need to go to EM? Should he be notified...will he have you transported to him? just a beginning

Amen!! It really does come down to planning for me too. If I'm left without planning a meal...I end up eating whatever. Kee- for real, for me once I met with Dr. Moazzez everything got real for me. All I have been doing is straight up protein (as lean as I can stand) :eek: , and LOTS of water, 1-2 salads a day with lots of meat goodies (chicken breast, cheese, boiled egg, and low carb salad dressing). I also always drink my breakfast (unjury protein). Been moving a bit more, but not yet everyday, but it's coming. Not yet in boxing..it is brutal--:faint: have to work my way there, that is my goal. Thanks guys for the well wishes! I'll have an answer from my insurance company TOMORROW!!!! NEED PRAYERS :grouphug:

Hi Gang!!! :hippie: :update: I haven't been here in a while (internet problems- :smash: very sore subject) :mad: . But anyways, I too am getting closer...Met with Dr. Moazzez on 1/23/2006. LOVE HIM!!!! (although I was not as obvious as others--uumm Kee) He told me I had to loss 15 pounds----I am happy to report that as of today I have lost 7 of those pounds. :target: :target: :target: :target: I had my psych eval on Wed and he is faxing my report to Dr. Moazzez's office. From there they will be submitting to insurance. Wish me luck.
