I was always scared I'd never wake up from the anesthesia but when I needed surgery and wanted it the fear disappeared, I wish you luck.

Surgery doesnt bother me , but I understand theres are those that think differently. Honestly, it wasn't bad at all (lapband), I just went to sleep ( anesthesia) and woke up banded. No pain, just bad cotton mouth and sleepy. The 1st 3 days I was very sore, but afrer that better every day ! Best decision ever ! Down 77 lbs ! Happy Happy Happy !!! Good luck !!

i am very afraid of surgery, needles, etc. however, i made the decision i do not want to fight my weight the rest of my life. i have just been diagnosed as diabetic and have a family history of heart issues. i am ready to be able to move freely again and like i said, not fight the weight loss fight from now on.
