How exciting! I am 19 just had the sleeve 7/13/15. We are young so we bounce back a lot faster than the older folks on here. (No offense) I'm a little over a week post op and I'm going out with friends, movies , shopping doing everyday activities so I'd say once you're feeling less pain you should be fine to go back to school so if shoot for 2 weeks TOPS!

They make you walk immediately which speeds up healing and prevents blood clots so you'll be ok after a week I guarantee!

I use 1 cup of sugar free pudding or Greek yogurt (could use both but do half and half If you do) and 2 tbsp of PB2. Mix it, than put it in ice trays and freeze! Than boom frozen yogurt! delicious for preop and post op liquid diet!

You need to drink more Water if you're getting headaches. Use dasani drops for flavor if you don't like water. If it's a full liquid and Protein Shake diet don't eat anything! Follow it strictly!

I also did mine over the 4th of July so u can do this!!!

Where something easy to put on or off because when you leave you will be in a lot of pain and trust me it is so freaking hard to bend down to put pants on. I'd suggest a nightgown

Feel like I'm dying when I stand ugh did I make the right decision? I'm only 19 with severe asthma so I had to stay on oxygen in the hospital and I just got released right now. I feel so alone and clueless in this journey. Anyone have Instagram where I can follow you're journeys to motivate me. Because right now I feel like "wth did I do"

Sleeved on 7/13 how long does it take to heal? I feel like I'm dying EVERYTIME I stand up

Just got sleeved this morning! Everything went great and I feel great! Really tired but not in much pain at all I don't know what everyone was talking about. But coughing and walking to bathroom almost killed me. No nausea no drain tube no catheter and no gas pain!

I report at 5:30 to! So excited(:
