Has anyone done the inverted gastric sleeve? If so how's your experience with it? And if done did you ask your surgeon to do the inverted gastric sleeve or did they recomend it.

Your going to love Dr. Kim and the team! I had my inverted sleeve one year ago and have lost 128 lbs so far! It has been the best experience of my life!

I've had the inverted sleeve from Dr. Kim and it's been the best decision I've ever made. No complications at all and I LOVE my sleeve!

Viv...it's a major surgery, but if you follow your surgeons directions, you'll be just fine! It's an amazing journey. At my highest weight a few months before surgery, I was 332 lbs. It's been one year and I've lost 127 lbs so far. You can do this!

If you have a co-morbidity,such as a hiatel hernia or sleep apnea, the cash pay price can be substantially reduced. I suggest calling them to discuss...their office can give you all the options!

Hey Phat! If you can schedule a consultation with Dr. Kim before you pay more to your doctor in Mexico, maybe it's worth a shot? It'll at least give you another opinion/option.

Hi there! I also had the inverted sleeve by Dr. Kim and it's been an AMAZING journey. And, I was cash pay, too! Not only is he an excellent surgeon, but everyone on his is invested in your success. Monthly support group meetings, private FB support group, work out sessions, events...it's so much more than surgery! Let us know how your journey progresses.

Hi Vanessa! How did your procedure go? I was in the same position, and Dr. Kim confirmed my hernia. I was so excited. ..LOL. That was a year ago and I've now lost 127 lbs. You chose the best surgeon for so many reasons...let us know!

Mine is scheduled for July 8 (2 days away)! I had my consult on my 23 birthday. I have insurance but WLS is an exclusion so Dr. Kim proposed the hernia route. I'm very nervous now that I will not have it... I really need this or else I can't afford the $15K price tag.My original surgeon (I have since switched surgeons) required an EDG anyways. I wasn't even considering the hernia route (even though I was cash pay) because I thought no way do I have a hernia (I had no symptoms). Sure enough I had what they called a very small hernia.
I am doing the hiatal hernia cash price with the same surgeon you are using
Do you have your EDG scheduled yet?

Hi there! I've had the inverted sleeve by Dr. Kim in Colleyville TX. I've had NO problems, and so far have lost 130 lbs in a year. The experience has been great, and no regrets!
