  1. I'm pretty sure they just want u to stop taking everyday meds. I still took Tylenol and such... idk the answer but I wouldn't stress it. U wouldn't be the only one to go against the rules
  2. I don't see why the morning after would affect anything but all the doc and ask to make sure
  3. I had mine out 5 years ago. And am post op 6 weeks down 25 pounds. I don't see where it has effected me any
  4. 179 this week! Didn't think I was ever gonna make it out of the 180s. 15 pounds to go for this challange! I'm so excited!!
  5. I'm the same way... it's so hard to force yourself to eat! I get the most food at one time with beef... i can eat about 2-2.5 oz of steak for lunch each day. Dinner is always something small cause I'm still full feeling from lunch and breakfast is a shake. I try to sneak a extra shake in throughout the day. I get about 45-50g at day and it's not enough. But between what I can eat and drinking water there isn't anytime left in the day either lol
  6. Yes, but the subject is protein... it's carb managment. Get as many proteins as possible throughout the day cause it's tough
  7. Maybe that is the reason the original posters NUT says higher carbs... yogurt, dairy and protien shakes and bars all have fiber in them...which subtracts from carbs to "net carbs" just tossing an idea out there http://healthyeating.sfgate.com/subtract-dietary-fiber-carb-count-11020.html
  8. I'm 6 weeks out and have eaten steak EVERY DAY since week 4. Cut it in small bites, prepared medium RARE, chew well! My tummy does well on about everything but pork... steak has the highest protein out of all the meats so I eat it daily because I struggle to drink shakes
  9. When u do your carb count do u subtract the fiber? Alot of times u need to up your carb intake because fiber cancels out a portion. So at 40 grams of carbs for the day, if u take in 15 grams of fiber u are really only taking in 25 carbs...
  10. I think everyone goes through this... find a way to satisfy your craving with something small. I made home made Reese cups with sugar free chocolate and pb2
  11. Club crackers are softer I use them
  12. I'm 5 weeks out as well... i would eat smaller portions and slower. 2.5 oz is alot right now. I'm barely getting 1-1.5 oz down. Even if u have to eat every 2-3 hours vs. 3 meals
  13. As a hair dresser and huge advocate for nioxin, using the conditioner by itself won't help. U have to use at least step 1&2 together (shampoo and cond.) And I always support the #3 step of a spray for the roots.
  14. My doc just told me (after I used them and thought I was doing good) that the New Whey shots are in accurate. After the amino acid balances and blah blah... it really only come out to about 9g of protein instead of the advertised 42
  15. 183... moving do slowly!
  16. I'm 5 weeks out and can't imagine eating 2/3 cup! I eat less then 1/4 cup at each meal. Are u sure u r really hungry and not just experiencing "head hunger"? I fight head hunger all day.
  17. Protein shakes will stop u up... call your doc to see what they recommend to help move it along. I use reg stool softeners
  18. If I don't use a straw I don't get enough liquid in. Gulping hurts. Sipping with straw is much easier
  19. I was just getting ready to say that. I had to have IV therapy 2 weeks post and had the same symptoms... good luck and sip sip sip...
  20. 184, sorry I'm so late this week
  21. I'm 1 month out today. Lost 27 pounds so far since surgery and 15 on the pre surgery, so 42 pounds in 6 weeks
  22. Meat first and only first! Pasta doesn't sit well and expands and it breaks down. It will make you full before you get your protien in and can be very painful at this time. I'm 4 weeks out and been eating real food for 2 weeks. All meat all the time... it's boring yes, but it's what your body needs.
  23. Same advise here... eat/ drink slower and smaller and walk! Your incisions will have another painful go in about a week... and last a few days once the insides start healing. I'm 1 month out and just starting to feel about 75% back to norm. Fatigue has got me good right now
  24. Google nascabal most ins. Will cover
  25. I don't like the fairlife... it's gross... idk y it tastes so bad to me but it doea
