I am so sorry. I hope that you don't give up. It took me 7 months remember. When will you know about sleep apnea? I have been home three days and I have lost 11 lbs. in three days. I have lost 25 lbs in 18 days total. How was Vegas? I hope they told you the sad news after your vacation. Please don't let it get to you and always fight for what you want. -Donita

Way to go on the weight loss. That is a great number in such a short time. I am 3 days out from surgery and I am down 21. I lost 15 on the pre-op diet. Keep up the great work. Does it take a long time for the pain to let up?

Well, I am banded and blessed. No real pain, no regrets. If I hdn't have seen the band on the upper GI, I would not believe they did more than cut me open. Are you back to normal? I got home at noon. I am going to the fireworks later tonight. I am going to Michigan by car on the 12th and I have a job interview. Life is great. Have a reat 4th.-Donita

I am home. God is great. I had almost zero pain, just discomfort. Like I did a thousand situps. I wish I was on your trip. Are you winning? Any great shows? Hubby is loving retirement...for a month until his contracting job starts. We get our new house the 25th of July, his new job the 28th and I received a call for an interview today...hubby told them to call on Monday. God is great!!! I am excited to get a WII Fit. They are sold out around here. Twenty lbs is so awesome. I love the fact that you are measuring instead, That is such a better indicator. I love the holiday idea. The other date was on one too...MEMORIAL DAY (remembering the dead!!!) I guess this one will be much more FUN! I have been applying everywhere to try to line up a job for after surgery. I have put my life on hold because I kept telling myself I didn't want to start a new job and then try to get time off for surgery. We are going to Michigan the day I have my one week check up. They said just to stand up and walk every hour. It is already a 12-13 hour trip without stopping except for gas and traffic. I hope you keep up the great work. Yeah! I am excited for you. I love your new picture. Did you have a great time while you were out? Did you love all of the attention I am sure you were getting? I am well thank you. I am on th epre-op diet. I am not doing too badly after the first three days. I had the severe headaches from not having caffine. I am mostly over it now. I am down 13 lbs from between what I lost the first pre-op and this one so far. I am so proud of you for not giving up and doing what you are told to do. I can't believe you are smaller than graduation day. That rocks!!! You take care little one...I mean LITTLE one! lol-Donita

Did you do well on your Psych Eval? I see you have your sleep stufy on the 28th. Yeah! You are getting closer. Yes, I do have a new date. They told me end of July first part of August, but they came back and said July 3rd. I grabbed it. It is kind of cool how it all worked out. I get to come home on Independence Day with my new independence. I find that kind of cool. So my new birthday is the same as our great country that we have given 22 years of our lives to protect!!! God is great!

Yes, I did get a date. I am to be banded on July third and I told my DH that I would come out on Independence day with new independence!!! Are you well? I see you are kicking butt on the weight loss as of the 11th of June, how about now? Do you LOVE the WII Fit? Hey there! How are you doing? I didn't get to get banded. I had a jaw infection a week before surgery and then my jaw needed surgery, so now I get banded on July third. I said it is ok, because not I can celebrate INDEPENDENCE DAY with my first day of INDEPENDENCE. How much have you lost so far. I lost 12 lbs. on 8 days of the pre-op diet. Gained 4 of it back, but I feel good that in a month of real food I am still down 8. Are you walking up a storm? Keep in touch. I wish I was banded with you on the 29th in the worst way. I will finally get to be start my life on the fourth of July, just like this great country of ours did. I will be banded on the third. 2 weeks and 3 days. I RESTART the pre-op diet Thursday. I hope you can get in more calories. You can't think straight on such a restricted amount. I know you are going to be even more beautiful and that you can get any job you want, but retaining some knowledge in class would be helpful. lol I still don't even have a date yet. I am going to try to find a job and give up on this. My husband retires in three weeks from the army and I will need to start earning my keep.lol Take care-Donita

It is aweful. I was on my two week liver shrinking diet...day 8. I had lost 12 lbs. Then my husband came home and I asked him if my jaw looked swollen and he said "yeah". I knew I was in trouble. I ran to the mirror and my jaw was rather HUGE! I went to the dentist and I had an infection in my jaw from a 12 year old root canal that went bad. I had to put off surgery and then have jaw surgery (yesterday). They couldn't save my tooth, so they removed it. I go in Friday t get cleared for Lap Band, but they said it will be Mid August before they can get me in. I can't put my life on hold for that long. I have been putting off getting a job, because I didn't want to take time off with a new employer, but I need to get a job. I hope you and baby girl are well. Is your hubby well too? I am glad you had a good psych eval. My friend had to wait 4 months because the psch wouldn't let her go through. She finally got approved last week. I hope they are wrong with Tricare. My doctor said Tricare go by BMI like everyone else, but Tricare said "no". Good luck. _Donita

I'm ok. I am eating everything in sight for some reason. Probably because I am home bound. I used to only eat once a day. This stinks. I'll be off the pain meds tomorrow, so I'll get out and about. You doing good today?

I had surgery for my jaw today. I am just now really waking up. I did ok. They had to take my tooth all the way out. It was leaking out the root canal tip and the side was split. At least if I can afford it, they can replace it. I don't get clearance until Friday and then I will need to reschedule then. They said it will probably the first week of August. Hope your testing goes great. I talked with Tricare today and they said they DO go by the 100 lbs. At 5'5" I could NOT weigh less than 227 lbs. Are you close? How tall are you? Good luck!
