  1. You got this, one thing is for sure with the revision we are more determined than ever before so just keep focused on your goal follow the steps and you’ll get to where you want to go. I’d be looking to hear your success story of losing the 100lbs became coincidentally that is my goal as well and I believe with exercise and following the plan we got this. Wishing you well

  2. I did the 5:2 diet fasting only on Mon. and Thurs. but I find I just don't have the willpower to fast all day and all evening. I am trying to get the re- gain off but nothing helps.

I am still battling but it's much harder now. In the beginning, if I messed up, I could get it off really easily. That all changed at about 3 years. I gained a few lbs. from going to a family reunion and I was really good for weeks and it did not help. The 3 or 4 lbs just stayed there. Then I went somewhere else, and it happened again. I gained 3 lbs cause I don't have a lot of willpower plus I still have not lost the 4 lbs. from before. I have to really watch what I eat and it doesn't help at all that I have severe back problems and can barely walk let alone go work out like I did for 10 years.

Great support and great options for getting that weight gain off and keeping it off, also my doctor suggested colace 100mg once a day with sugar free Fiber chews and that has greatly helped my Constipation. Wish you all the best

  3. Thank you all I have heard enough folks say I need to increase Proteins and Water and I am going to try your suggestion and hopefully this will break my stall :-)

I would also like to cast my vote for a calorie increase. I've hit 3 stalls since my surgery in January, and each one broke the day after adding 100-200 cals. I'm sure it doesn't work for everyone, but in my particular situation it has been the solution each time.

I know your nut isn't being very forthcoming, but according to mine, 600-800 cals and 70-80g Protein was my goal at 2 months. At 3 months I was bumped up to 800-1000 cals and 90g Protein. I would imagine that at 5 months one might need to be a bit higher still.

Hardly medical advice, but this is just what has worked for me so far.

for me also - when I had a stall I tracked my food on the same program where I track my workouts and saw that I needed to add a snack - calories were a good bit too low. I find my calorie deficit for the day needs to be right around 800 or else I stop loosing.

  4. @KristinLe Thank you and it's hard not to be hard on myself when I realize I have so far to go. How many calories are you getting in? what is expected at 5 months? My nut is just not giving me a straight answer.

@@perfectlyimperfect44 I am not an expert by any means but I think that amount of calories is too low for 4 1/2 months out. You may want to kick it up a little. Get some Protein powder and mix with Water, crystal light, etc. or get some Protein Water so it counts towards your water and protein.

You have done tremendous so far (loss of 105 lbs) so be proud of yourself and just keep working at it.

  5. I am getting in about 600-800 calories Protein is using about 50-60 a day trying to find the right regime to get all my Protein in has been the hardest task for me I'll do a Protein Drink for Breakfast and depending on what that is could be 20 or 30 grams of protein and try to get a high protein lunch and dinner so I averaging about 50-60 but then trying to get 64oz of Water in too, whew is like stomach over load I'm stirring clear of carbs at most I think I do about 27-40 grams of carbs a day. I really try to eat right trust me some days are harder than others but I have a goal to reach and that's my motivation.

How many calories and carbs are you getting in each day? If that's on track, I would say, just stay off the scale for a few weeks and when you get back on, you'll very likely find the stall broken.

Exercise has very little to do with weight loss -- food intake is much more important.

  6. I am about 4 1/2 months out and I see so many people talking about stalls but has any successfully broke a stall and what did you do. Yep getting Protein in about 50 grams and yep getting Water in about 50-64 oz of water on good days. Gym is a slight problem working with a healing broken ankle so I am using the bicycle and working with a trainer on strength training. Could my lack of exercise be my issue?

  7. lol no you are not I be giving it to my husband some times and the poor thing just looks at me like I'm a crazy woman I've been told that our hormones get a little jacked up after surgery I'm about 5 months out and things seem to be calming down a bit just a bit :-)

Not sure if it's just me or what? I am fine one second and then want to break things the next. Am I alone on these mood swings?

  8. You'll be surprised how much easier it is to not drink while you eat. one your stomach will not let you put too much in too fast anyway and eating and drinking will be so painful you'll avoid it to avoid the pain. I thought the same thing before I had my surgery but it is much easier than you think the only issue I have not is that after eating im so thirsty that I am clocking watching so I can drink :-)

  9. my surgery was 12/15 and I agree once I got past the first two days it has not been that bad Thank God im just dealing with a lot of gas, I have been walking and walking and walking so now walking and GasX strips are my best friend lol the gas pains are brutal but I am so glad that it's over and now comes the work to being Successful.

Congrats on your new life and Merry Christmas
