    Helpppppp.......

@@laguerr13 It is amazing how everyone's surgery program is different. After my surgery I was told I could have fruit juice (Apple Juice and Cranberry) they even gave it to me in the hospital however, I had to dilute it with Water.(I am 7 weeks out). So at the time, I would do 2-6oz of juice and dilute the other 1/2 with water and I was fine. I also had juice during my liquid stage diluted with water so that your not consuming so much sugar. Now I am 7 weeks out my NUT said that it was ok to have 4 oz of juice if I wanted before Breakfast but just not consume it everyday. You mentioned "feeling regular" did you know that benefiber has packs made for water bottles? I add crystal light and benefiber to my water daily and it keeps me regular(TMI I know but trying to help). Thanks!
  3. There are healthier versions of making pizza on youtube using cauliflower. I am one month out and I am not that advanced in food yet but I am researching other alternatives to the foods I used to eat so that they are healthier. I would try searching cauliflower pizza on youtube Thanks!
  4. Good Afternoon, I am scheduled for my sleeve surgery tomorrow and have to be at the hospital by noon. Has anyone had there surgery in the afternoon? If so how did it go? Thanks!

Well I am back home. I had a textbook surgery. The only pain I have is gas pain that decided to rest in my diaphragm and moves to my back. Other then that, I feel good just tired

    Feeling weak :(

@gabbisha I was told recently at my preop class that a childrens chewable Vitamin such as Flintstone Vitamins should be taken twice a day Post-op 1-30 days. 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. I am not sure if that speaks for everyone, just what I found out in class. and sublingual Vitamin B-12(Dissolves under tongue). But per the dietician that is once a week. Everyone's instructions are different I am just basing off my class! Congrats on your new sleeve and good luck. My surgery is September 22nd.. 19 day's away!

  14. I told my parents, my boss, one co-worker that I am close with, my brother, bestfriend and GodMother. I have and will not tell my extended family and the rest of my co-workers until after surgery. I figure the people I have told are my biggest support system and are not negative. I have my surgery on September 23rd, I am already on edge about the whole thing so I do not need negative in my mind right now. I am trying to flush that out already
  15. @@MicheleL I am having my surgery at St. Mary Mercy In Livonia, MI
