Surgery yesterday went well. I suffered with severe nausea and gas pain for the first night but am doing much better today. Hooked up to all the pain meds u can think of lol can't believe we've done it. Yay

It's so wonderful to find others that are having surgery on the same date!

About myself; I'm 24yrs old female living in Australia and have a BMI of 33 with no complications however I do have a family history of obesity and other medical complications. My starting weight is 103kgs and my goal weight is 60-67kg.

I am just tired of yoyo dieting and having low selfesteem and pretty much being overweight.

I am self funded and have an appointment with my NUT on the 6/8/2015 through Skype consultation to discuss any pre op diet as I will be flying to sydney to have my surgery.

This year has got to be the most drastic year for me; from losing a loved one earlier this year to currently going through a break up. I know now that I need to focus on my self and my health right now and end this year with a positive change.

I would like to keep in contact with you all to see how everyone is doing post op.
