Try JCPenny. I am the same size as you and they have our size in stock and often have 2 for one sales. They have tons that are not underwire. Good luck with your girls. My husband calls my bras "Over the shoulder boulder holders" ha ha. Just a little funny for serious buisness.

But what do I tell my 6yr old son?
Cgailee replied to cantwait2bthin's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have 3 children also. My middle one is a 6 year old son also. I just told my children that I was having a surgery on my tummy to help me loose weight so that I could ride bikes with him and his sister and daddy. I told him that it wasn't healthy for mommy to be this big and that I wanted to be smaller so that I could play more with him. Go down the slide and swing on the swings, ect. He was happy about that. They went to school that day and I was home when he was having a snack after school and he was like, you look smaller already mommy! Good luck. -
I know you are very young. 25 years old and making a very big decision for life. You are already married, ect. Your family will just have to accept the new you. I chose not to hide from anyone that I was having my surgery. I know that the decision was best for me and my family. I have 3 kids and a husband of 16 years. If you have your husbands support that is the main thing. Don't let other people worry you about your decision. I had to be carried out of my house in March 07 by like 6 big firemen when I had fallen and injured my back. It was like that moment when drug addicts hit "rock bottom" I thought OMG, I'm going to end up as one of those people who have to be rescued from their home. I can't live like this anymore. Good Luck and God Bless You as you make the decision. I hope your family will understand cause you of course will want their help/support.

last thoughts and items before surgery
Cgailee replied to Cavegirl's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I live about 2 hours from where I had my surgery too. Just ask them to give you plenty of pain meds before you leave. Tell them how far you live. They hooked me up with meds and I was feeling good on the ride home. The hospital called in my scripts so my husband could just pick them up quickly. Good luck. saying a prayer for you. -
waking up after surgery
Cgailee replied to Joanna240's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I just felt tired, the worst I felt was the next morning, I felt all ache like you do with the flu. It wasn't bad at all. I am just short of 2 weeks post op and feeling really great. You don't feel bad for as long as you do with a flu. You get well really quick. You will be pleasently surprised! I was. -
Question for Female Bandsters esp w/ PCOS...HELP!
Cgailee replied to Anyalee's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I have PCOS, was diagnosed at age 22. Now 34. I have had all sort of times when periods lasted for long time Your cycle will even out. Call you dr. if you are going through more than one pad or tampon an hour. Insulin is produced when we eat carbs and now your probably not consuming many carbs, so your hormones are going crazy. You are probably not bleeding to death=) I have 3 kids after being told that I would never conceive naturally, 1 planned daughter and 2 bonus boys. I have also experienced 2 cysts rupture. OUCH! Good luck, call your dr. if your too worried. -
I followed it to the t. My dr. said they would not do the surgery if I didn't loose enough ahead of time. You heal better and you'll already loose weight ahead of time which will be motivating to you. I had cravings for saltine crackers for like 5 days and called my doctors office and they said go ahead and eat a couple to satisfy the craving and then I was fine. I lost 16lbs in 10 days and felt very good going into surgery. You stop craving sugary foods in just a few days. ALso I was so motivated to just get the rest of my life started. Good luck

I'm in Allen, Texas, just up the street from you! The goal is to hit 40-60 grams of protein. (my dr reccomends) You should still be drinking some of the protein shakes. I was banded 12/21. Good luck! I was on all liquids till 12/31, just now getting the mushy foods.

Peanut Butter Issue
Cgailee replied to MovinForward's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I haven't been really hungry yet. I am just a week post-op and feel pretty good. I'm having trouble getting enough protein, because I just don't feel hungry. Also, I'm sick of the shakes. I know they are helping but I hate them. -
Anyone having this problem???
Cgailee replied to Margiezzzz's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was banded on 12/21 My doctor's office said that pain in the shoulder after this surgery is usually trapped gas from the inflating of your stomache. If you walk it helps move the air out. Also they suggested chewable gas-ex pills. I cut hair for a living and went back to work 12/26. I raise my arms all day and am on my feet. I feel pretty great other than a little soarness in the port area. -
I started the process on August 1 and got my approval on Dec 11th. This is mainly because the office that contracts with my surgeon kept not getting the faxes from my general physician that showed my weight for the last 5 years. They didn't even call me back and tell me that they didn't get the info. I had to keep calling them, and then finally I talked to my surgeon's office and they were pretty ticked off at the company that does this for them. Otherwise I would have had my approval in October. I got my band Dec 21!

Surgeries The Week Of December 17
Cgailee replied to nhlapband's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my band on the 21st. Feeling good. -
Hi this is my first post or reply. I just had my band on Dec. 21st. Having trouble getting down the 3 shakes a day that my dr. recomends. I lost 16lbs pre op and I think I've lost about 5 more since then. I am already fitting into some jeans that I hadn't been able to wear. I'm a hairdresser and went back to doing hair on the 26th. A little sore but not too bad, mainly where my port is. I'm in North Texas Also.
