This is for everyone out there that thinks you will never feel really sexy again. I am a little over 5 months into my band and have lost 66 lbs and regained my sexy little spirit! I feel as sexy now as I did when I was 18! It is wonderful (even a little bit scary). I catch men staring at me again. :thumbup: Of course my husband likes it too as he reaps all the benefits! I am so glad that I had lapband procedure and finding myself all over again. Here's hoping this little thread finds you feeling so sexy again too. Gail:wub:

Here are a few pictures of me at work. Just messing around. I couldn't keep a straight face. I have lost anoher 15 or so since the pictures from April. Feeling Good. Little by little.

I guess I am a weirdo, having a scale at home would drive me nuts. i weigh in every week at tops (take of pounds sesnsibly) meeting, a non for profit weight loss support group that does accept people who have had bariatric surgeries as well as people who are trying to loose weight. I love it. My dr. office has a support group but it is just one time a month. I find that going to tops helps me to stay focused on my weightloss goals and my eating habits Gail -

How are you doing? Its been about a week I guess since I talked to you. I am doing great. I weighed in this evening and have lost another 6 1/2 pounds which is wonderful. I am feeling really good. I hope you are doing well too. Talk to you soon.

Okay, I got online tonight and saw a message stating that I hadn't done any new posts in 30 days and that I must be getting shy. So here it is my new post. I haven't seen any new posts to respond to. So here is a new one. I am at a bit of a standstill right now. I am struck at 60lbs lost. Going for a fill on June 5. Can't wait. Calling dr. office weekly to see if they have had a cancellation. my suggestion is to have a bottle of water in your hands. this always works for me. I went to big family christmas after my band. I actually sat their watching people gorge themselves thinking thank god i am no longer a slave to food. good luck. Gail:thumbup: You can do it!

I haven't done any vomiting. I have had 3 or 4 fills. I still can eat solids without any problmems. Ocassionally I have trouble sometimes in the morning. Mostly I don't have any trouble I am filled 7.2 in a 10 cc band.

Hi Pissypotz,
I noticed you live in Dallas and had your band one week after me. I would love to have a friend close by to talk to when I'm struggling and maybe I could help you too. I live in Allen. I too have children, 3 actually and struggle with motivation for excersize. If you write me back you can look at my profile and maybe we can talk.
