    Failure

Reading this made me so sad. If you are only 4 months out you should still have plenty to time to turn things around and lose the weight you want to lose. Hopefully the NUT will be able to go through your logs and see if there are things you can tweak to get the scales moving. I would take @@BLERDgirl advice and post what you are eating and what kind of exercise you are doing on here. People here have been nothing but helpful and kind in these situations before and I am sure someone can give you some pointers. Hang in there and do not despair. Do not give up, you can turn it around.

    always thirsty?

Start practicing not drinking with meals. If you chew well, eat slowly, and watch to make sure you don't overeat, you will see you don't need to drink while eating. Drinking is very hard at the beginning but now 4 months out I can drink fairly quick and have no problems getting my fluids in.
  4. Just wanted to note that my gerd resolved after my sleeve with hernia repair.

    Fever on day 12

    Any abdominal pain?
  6. I love Limited and Macys. Sometimes Express. But I buy a lot of stuff at Target actually. Loft has cute stuff sometimes but sometimes I don't like anything in there. Trying really hard not to shop until I am closer to goal but I am starting to look ridiculous in some of my stuff. I am older than you (43) but check out Buckle if you have one. Super cute stuff. Never heard of Maurices so will go see if they have them in my area.

    Stalled since week 2!

You lost over 30 pounds in two weeks, Celebrate that! It is early on in the game and as long as you are following rules you will be ok. The first month going from clears to full liquids to mushies etc poses a lot of changes to your body so give it time to adjust. I stalled after week two for over a week as well and thought, oh well, getting the three week stall out of the way early. Nope, hit another big stall a few weeks later. But things got moving again. I am now stuck at a previous set point and trying to just wait it out. I am doing what I need to be doing and have to trust that.
  8. THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you! You just made my day
  9. A lapband term for Productive Burp... it is basically vomiting. Especially common when something is too large or coarsely chewed up to pass through the band... if it cant go down, it comes up. Yep a Productive Burp. But since I did it all I find a distinction from slime or vomit. You will literally cough up a chunk of food. Nasty. The slime was insane. Could throw up that crap for a good half hour. Just clear gooey slime. Oh the love hate with the band will forever live on in my heart. LOL

    Help!

Are you chewing well and eating slowly? I would callback and ask to get an appointment sooner.
  12. A small sprinkling should do it. Half a pack is waaaaaayyyy too much. A box usually lasts me over a week if used daily but I just switched to cocoa powder as I like the bitterness.
  13. Omg! Love your puppy! So sweet. Congrats on the new buddy.

    Belly Dance

I have been doing tribal belly dance for a few years and love it. Mostly improv. It is challenging but fun. I love that women of all sizes do tribal style

    What can I do?

I don't think you are a slow loser at all! 50 pounds in 4 months sounds awesome.
  17. Can you be more specific so we can try and help? You said you have trouble with Protein. Are you not tolerating certain foods or are you not getting enough protein? Are you doing Protein shakes? You said you don't want to lose too fast as you don't want to lose muscle.... meeting your protein intake will greatly help with this. You have lost 58 pounds in less than 3 months and only have 36 more to go to goal so your loss is fantastic. You did say you have been baking and eating things you shouldn't. I am guessing you mean sweets. You said you are not getting sick from them. Being that you have a sleeve, you will not necessarily get sick from sweets but you should not be having them anyway, specially so soon. If I eat any carbs they awaken my carb and sweet monsters and make me "hungry". I avoid these foods as much as possible. You can get back on track. Call your surgeon's office and see if there is a support group you can attend. Or post more specific questions here for more helpful answers.
  18. I had my band for 14 years and revised to sleeve 4 months ago. Difference is night and day. I PBed, threw up, and slimed all the time with the band particularly in the last few years. Have not had any issues with the sleeve so far. Tried a steak two nights ago for the first time because I was eating at a family event and that was what they had. Had a few bites and knew instinctively I wasn't ready for it so I ate some sides. So far loving the sleeve. While I can eat waaayyyy more than what others post on here, I think it will be the perfect amount to maintain once at goal by making good choices. I would not go back for anything.
  19. Thank you. That is what I was thinking as well. Hope it's nothing but just emailed my surgeon. @@honeybunz
  20. Hello all. I am almost 3 months out from sleeve and just last night developed a burning pain behind my belly button. Hard to explain. I am on vacation and have not been exercising so it can't be that. Not sure what it can be. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance.
  21. I had a lot of pain after my revision, especially the large incision where my port resided for 14 years. The pain meds they gave me in the hospital were useless so I never took anything after and was in pain for a while. I had my hand over my incision when walking for the first week or so but I had pain longer than that. Hang in there, its a big surgery and pain is to be expected. Keep sipping. Not sure what you mean that the Water is not going through. Do you mean you don't know if it is going through your sleeve?

    Why sleeve and not bypass?

I went from band to sleeve. I chose the sleeve because I wanted to maintain my pyloric valve and did not like the idea of a blind stomach which could not be scoped etc.
  23. I think that is fantastic! I am "only" down the same amount of weight but have been out from surgery twice as long as you. I am thrilled. There is no way I could have ever lost this much in such a short amount of time otherwise.
