    June Post Ops!

I'm post op as of the June 24th, I spent two nights in recovery instead of just one (I'm really sensitive to meds so I was a problem child). I'm feeling pretty good but I'm only able to get in 3 bottles of water daily (and that's a struggle) every time I drink anything it feels like a stabbing pain in my stomach. I know this is more than likely because it's so new (Wedensday) but that's not making life easier for staying hydrated. I go this coming week to check in. Other than that I feel great and am so exciting to get the ball rolling here with the weightloss!! Feel free to friend me and keep in touch!

    Water Advice!

Bizzy, I completely understand what you are going through. I was just sleeved on Wedensday and haven't beenable to drink 64oz in a day. I can say each day I am, getting better but it's still a challenge. Today I have had 37oz and it's 5pm so I will get more in but definitely not 64oz!

Completely understand your pain but don't give in! Your stomach is healing and you don't want to risk messing that up. Broth was definitely my friend in the very early days. Yummy pureed foods will be here soon enough! ;) You are doing great! You can do this!

I know you are right Daisee, it's pretty bad when I'm really looking forward to, even craving the full liquids lol. I'm vegetarian and the veggie broths just don't have a very satisfying taste.

I also remember this stage and felt like I had not chewed anything in so long. Then the puréed and soft food stages came. It will get better soon and you will satisfy those cravings. Like Daisee said, don't rush it and you will have great success. Too many people try to jump ahead and their tummies were not ready. Then they gave bigger problems for a lot longer. It will happen soon. Hang in there!
