  1. Saw my docs on Monday and was given a new goal weight! They say I'm right on track, despite my 3 month stall, and all my labs are perfect.

  2. Looks like I have survived the four month stall. Check weight yesterday and found my body still wants to downsize.

      That's great news!!

  3. I am in the second month of a stall. I feel my hope falter.

Don't give up. You might have to change your routine a little. Are you actually getting enough calories at this point? My longest went 28 days and I was terrified so I totally get it. I had to change up what I was eating and for me I needed to bump up from 700 calories to 900. Once I did that the stall broke within a couple days.

Ditto. I've decided to cut dairy and go back to 800 calories.

  4. Happy surger-versary to me! Our community just had a major flood and I was working with phones in the Command Center. It was hard to eat healthy during our crises

  5. Yesterday I stopped by to visit my counselor who took me through my behavior change stuff. I have not seen her for a year and she was very surprised. I told her, "Look! You were a success!"

  6. What a relief for you! We just keep getting healthier!

  7. OMG! My BMI is 33.3 and according to the chart I am still obese. I feel like I have almost disappeared. My body has really changed, and I like it. However, I am wondering how much more I can loose, and where is it going to come from???

That's my BMI! I know exactly what you mean. Not much longer and we'll be into "overweight." Judging by how much I get sore when I sit too long, I think mine is coming from my butt! :(

I think BMI charts are so unrealistic. Alot of people I've seen who get down into the "normal" category look too thin (and unhealthy). JMO.

Congrats on your success so far!

I think as we get to the normal range we have to really rely on our team to help us figure out how much body fat we have, rather than BMI due to bone weight and skin and so forth. Congrats on your success *wild applause*

  8. That's powerful!

      Thanx...

      I do what I can...

  9. I have changed my goal weight! After my six month doctor visit, I was given parameters to calculate my weight goals. My old one was just a guess, this new goal is based on reaching on a "normal" BMI.

  10. Hey everyone! I just recalculated my BMI (OK I'm nerdy) and found that I have gone from Super morbidly obese to super obese down to just normal obese. Wow That's

I did that too. I figured out where I needed to be on the scale to go from one 'title" to the next. Its a scale victory but it sure does feel good to go from Super Morbidly Obese>Super Obese>Obese....

  11. It was one of my major goals as well. I remember feeling more an more depressed as my doctor's scale approached 200. Then past it. And I felt so powerless and helpless. Started Weight Watchers. Lost 5 pounds. then another 5. Stalled there at 10, Then started gaining again. Ate lots of broccoli, peas and carrots. Still gained weight. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Quit Weight watchers after 3 months of gaining. THIS time. I stalled at 205. Worked out like a hamster. Sought encouragement from B pal. Quit weighing myself. Remembered what the doc told me "It will work!" Thought of other things. After 2 weeks I was surprised to find...195!
