Feeling much better today. Resorted to pain medicine last night. Something is better now, I can get something in my stomach now. Yay! Thanks!

Oh goodness! You are doing so good! I mean taking medicine takes up so much space! I hate it. Just got a hold of my surgeon and she had to call them. The would take electronic. I'm spitting up foam now.

I had by-pass. I'm still not right. The doctor had the nurse call in a cocktail to help and when my husband went to get it it didn't get called in. We upped the Prolsec an that has helped a little. I'm hating these Protein Drinks. I have left a message but it seem to be an answering machine.

I felt terrible yesterday. Pain, nausea, and GERD. Called WLC and they guided me through the GERD. I stayed in bed all day. I'm a little better today, but very tender. Took one big nap. I feel like I've been set back from recovering. It almost feels like day 1. Anyone get sick this early?

Good Luck! You may be a few days before you want to talk on computer, so until then, prayers for great beginnings !

I'm a teacher and had my surgery June 15th. I wanted plenty of time to recover. I have some training in July. I will be ready. I'm only doing a little a day so far. Cooking dinner made me really sore yesterday, but worth it. The family loved it.

Squat down and get back up without using hands.I am looking forward to just feeling better and not being in anymore pain when I walk. I am also looking forward to being able to spend time with my children and being able to keep up with there activities without being tired all the time.

I couldn't of made it back to work today. It is exactly a week from surgery. I'm doing better, but still taking it slow.

Hi there! I had my bypass Tuesday afternoon. I've pretty much needed to nap every day which seems reasonable to me. Today however I feel extra tired. Almost dizzy at times and besides walking around the house to make my shakes I haven't had the energy to go outside and do a real walk. (Of course that could be because it's hot as anything out there today!) My husband went out for a bit, came home and was changing clothes in our bedroom for about 15 minutes before I heard him. I'm normally a light sleeper. Is this just one of those recovery things you think? I didn't get a ton of sleep last night, about 7 hours, but it just feels a bit excessive to me. But I could be getting impatient with this whole recovery process in general. Thanks for any input!
I had mine Monday. The sleeve. I'm not myself and out of it too. I'm only getting a little of my shake down a day. Really tired, but trying to walk some. Hope tomorrow is better. Good Luck!

I'm suffering with this too. I'm trying not to have too much, but I'm hurting almost every night. I'm gagging all the time.
