  7. I'm taking same amount as you and some days it works some days it doesn't. Let me know what the dr says.
  8. Didn't have to stay and extra night and dr gave me some carefate med to help my stomach and stuff. Feeling a lot better these past 2 days.
  9. I was sleeved on 11/17 and still on the liquid diet ???????? So mine is going to consist of a cup of chicken broth and a sugar free Popsicle! But my mom is here taking care of me so I've made her a roast chicken and asparagus and baked bananas.
  10. What is the best cookbook for bariatric friendly recipes?
  11. Thank you everyone for the kind words. My surgery went quite well! I'm having tons of gas/acid reflux issues and gas x is my BFF. Walking as much as I can. Been running a temp between 99.5 and 101.8 but luckily it goes down with meds. Was able to eat 2 sugar free Popsicles, 1tbsp of jello, 1 premier protein shake, a couple of sips of water, and a couple of sips of chicken broth. A lot of pressure near rib cage and it's a major adjustment. Can't wait not to have this gas/pressure pain!
  12. I'm mentally prepared for the pain, but it's going to be a major adjustment as far as the earring etc. Hopefully everything will go smoothly and it will be an easy adjustment.
  13. I'm excited and scared all at the same time! I know I'm going to have some self regret, but I'm surrounded by a lot of ppl supporting me. Keep me in your prayers.
  14. @@FrankiesGirl I'm hairy person in general thanks to genetics and pcos lol. I didn't want to horrify ppl with my hairy legs and I'm going to have to have a catheter for 24 hours. But dr saw me today and I'm going in for surgery tmrw at 11:30am. Got to be there at 9 so wish me luck!
  15. So I'm suposed to have surgery tmrw. Normally I would be happy, but I naired early yesterday morning and some of the nair irritated me under my stomach fold. Which 1. I've naired hundreds of times and never have had this happen and 2. I thought it would be safer than shaving due to you can gets cuts from shaving. Well now my dr wants to see me today to see if he still wants to do my surgery tmrw ???? has anyone ever had skin irritation under their flap and still had surgery?
  16. Thanks everyone! I'm nervous and excited at the same time. So much to do in such a short time ????.
  17. So got a call today from my dr's office saying btw we have had a cancellation and wanted to know if you would like to move your surgery up a week. So I'm having surgery on 11/17 next Tuesday instead of of 11/24. My mood is going between ???????????????????? and ????????
  18. I'm a tummy sleeper and my nurse is going to give me a tummy binder since their afraid I'll roll over on my belly at night.
