I'm confused....I thought the sleeve removed the hunger hormone. How can you be eating so early after surgery??

Not only did my surgeon tell me, the dietitian told me as well my counselor and everyone else!! So I'm starting tomorrow

They are the ones who get the insurance approval. And everyone EXCEPT HER has told me to get ready for surgery

I have 14 days liquid diet!!! I start tomorrow and just so nervous!!!

I'm. Scheduled for the 30th too!! Starting my 14 day liquid diet tomorrow. What is your pre-op diet consist of?? I am so excited and glad to see someone else on the same day.

I think being on only liquid diet for as long as you have to be before surgery prevents you from going. Am I right?

The main idea and most important is to take your Vitamins and drink!!! As much as you can. Protein is optimal but only take what you can until you feel better. Good luck!!

So I've gone through everything necessary for me to get surgery I called Friday to ask if I start my liquid diet before the surgery that I have scheduled on June 30th and they said yes the insurance company called me today about a prescription for after my surgery to verify my plan and they're sending my medication the only thing I haven't had yet is my advocate call me and tell me that everything was good and I was cleared for surgery. I've been doing everything they wanted me to since March and now my surgery date is scheduled for June 30th and I haven't heard from my advocate but everyone else including my surgeon has told me to go ahead and start my liquid diet. My BMI is 44 and I'm sure my insurance will approve me but I'm starting to get nervous because I haven't heard from my advocate but I have heard from everyone else. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?
