Just had surgery on the 30th... everytime I seem to lay down I get headaches... I am also a side sleeper and since my surgery I have slept on my back in bed propped up a little bit but it has my lower back killing me. I wished I had a recliner like I did for my csections. Also is it normal to have all this rumbling in the stomach while drinking, taking medicine, and just anytime. My stomach has been doing that constantly. I have also been so gassy and letting the farts go and occasional burps but it stills continues. Any help would be appreciated

Lol me too I have been doing the same thing. Had surgery two days ago and while on preop liquid diet I struggled seeing people eating in front of me but post surgery I don't even mind. It's weird

I had surgery on the 30th and it's the weirdest feeling when I drink it's like my stomach does a rumbling. When I take my pain medicine I can feel it go all the way down and the way my stomach reacts is crazy weird

Just had my surgery 2 days ago. I plan on tracking my calories when I start on soft food in 2 weeks!!! I hear alot of people target to get 800 calories a day.

Just had surgery 2 days ago... I feel so tired and pain especially in a sitting down position. Everytime I drink I feel the bubble. I especially hate the feeling when taking the medicine because I can feel it go all the way down and the feeling is indescribable in a weird way. I'm struggling to get enough fluids while sipping in between my naps because I'm always so tired. Somewhat hurts to breath I really feel it in my right rib while trying to breath in. I am hoping to gain some energy here soon

I have been walking and trying to get in as much fluids I can in between naps. I also have been having a fever which probably hasn't made me feel any better. I'm trying to do the incentive speromator(probably not spelled right) to help prevent pneumonia but it does hurt to breath. I have had 4 csections, tubal, gall bladder removal and this by far is worse.

I just had surgery yesterday how long does it take for the pain to let up? I feel like I got ran over by a semi... I'm always so tired and I'm trying to drink as much Water as possible but I can only sip it between naps. Any advice will be helpful

So I started my clear liquid diet today!!! I have 2 days of clear liquid with my surgery tuesday. I have 8 bottles of Isopure. I opened the coconut and alpine punch and instantly felt nauseated by the taste. I opened up the blue raspberry and that was tolerable not good but tolerable but the after taste was horrible. I drank the bottle gone and started having a icky stomach. I sure hope I can drink one more today and 2 tomorrow. I have grape, icy orange, and pineapple orange banana I haven't tried yet!!!

I'm starting my preop liquid diet today... had my first Protein Shake. I already apologized to my hubby because when I get hungry I get cranky!!! Good thing I only have a 3 day liquid diet. Today full liquid diet and the next two days clear liquid diet.

My name is lacey and I'm having surgery June 30th at Blue valley surgical hospital... Dr. Drahota is performing my sleeve. Just trying to see if I have some people close or maybe even have the same doctor. I'm so ready to start this journey
-
I chose the sleeve because that's the only option I have. My doctor only does the band or sleeve. I have heard to many bad about the band. I got this app and looked at all these threads and alot of people have really good results with the sleeve. I originally wanted bypass as I would like to lose 140 pounds but I am gonna continue with the sleeve and if in the future I could get it revised to the bypass. Alot of people choose the sleeve because it's not messing with your intestines and such but I have seen so many good from both sleeve and bypass

So change of plans- my surgery got moved up to this Tuesday!!
Mine got moved from the 7th to Tuesday also
-
I start my preop full liquid diet tomorrow... then clear liquids Sunday and monday. I wish everyone luck!!! I'm not sure how to friend on here but feel free I would like to keep up with everyone so we be of support to each other!!!

I don't have a headache at all when standing up... but once I lay down its terrible my head feels like it's gonna burst in a million pieces... finally able to do #2 today and my gas is a little better. I still have all the rumbling in my stomach and it feels so weird. I got one Premier Protein shake down and drinking grape juice. I'm gonna work on my next Protein Shake here in a little bit. I have 4 kids and I have had alot of help. I can't wait to be 100% to do all my motherly, wifely duties.
