I met my husband on yahoo personals 12 years ago. We met and married the same year. We emailed for a whiled then talked on the phone several times a day then he drove up and met me. We have been inseparable since. It does happen. You just have to be patient. Good luck!

Sorry, you lost me? You had conversion surgery today and you are eating WHAT? When was your operation? What was your conversion - lap band to RNY, lap band to Sleeve?
Because this is your 38th post, I am assuming you had surgery at least a month or two ago. How are you doing with the primary daily requirements: Protein, fluids, Vitamins? food is secondary, because your body is converting stored fat into the energy that drives your body, thus you lose weight. Just stick to the meal volume requirements and the approved food lists.
On one hand, you find it difficult to consume food which might be an indicator that you had a stricture. Perhaps your body self corrected the stricture and you suddenly now can eat. So eat! But remember to limit your volume and select only from the approved list. pizza is not on the approved list.
I was a sleeve to bypass conversion in August. I do stick to my meal plan and the pizza I should have mentioned was a home made cauliflower crust pizza the size of my palm. Not a traditional pizza. I stick to my meal plan and my volume is non existent most days due to the amount of liquid I have to consume. In my post it was literally 2 cubes of grilled chicken and 4-5 forks of lettuce that was cut at each meal and the pizza was the size of my palm and I only got in a few bites. I am happy I was able to keep that down. Most days I can't keep anything solid down. There is nothing wrong with my pouch, had testing.

I just don't get it. I can't figure out my new stomach at all. Most days I throw up what very little I eat.. It doesn't matter what it is. We haven't been able to figure out the triggers.. But today.. It's like I couldn't get enough food.. I ate the most food I have eaten since my conversion surgery today. 1 entire Protein bar.. salad with chicken.. Another antipasto salad.. 3 bites of pizza... And a ton of water! Granted I didn't eat an entire salad but I didn't puke either... Anyone else have these days????

Have you had your blood pressure checked. That happens to me when my Bp is low. Now that I lost the weight my Bp runs 90/60 as opposed to the 140/80 I was running and I get dizzy when it falls below that but keeping my Water up and making sure I am not skipping meals helps.

I will also mention that at 3 weeks out I was completely on my stomach. It was sore but I had too! Revision was 8/31/15
-
I slept semi stomach at a week. Propped up pillows around me and took pain meds before bed. I wasn't completely on my tummy but it felt great to be in my bed and not a recliner lol

I never had reflux until I had the sleeve. I had such severe reflux after that and was on 5 medications several times a day that this year I couldn't take it and revised on 8/31/15 to gastric bypass. Honestly if you already have reflux I would opt for the bypass. I have no reflux and my surgeon said its near impossible for me to ever have it again. I am off all medication and love it!

I just had revision surgery. Sleeve to RNY. I didn't hide it. I was miserable with GERD prior to the revision. A friend of mine had the nerve to say...
"Oh man... Gastric bypass people look like bobble heads.. Your going to have a bobble head"
Um really? My husband said the look on my face was priceless. Like a cross between did that just come out of your mouth and are you really that effing stupid?
My face let's me hide nothing about what I am thinking! Lol

I went back after 2 weeks and I should have taken 4 like doc told me too. I was extremely tired. Still am at 4 weeks out revision to RNY. You will not be up to going back to work at 1 week out. I could barely move around well
Enough and I wasn't allowed to drive for 2 weeks.

That's an amazing difference!
Thank you! I am anxious to see how much weight I lose with this revision. I am almost a month out and down 16 pounds. Hoping he clears me for more strenuous exercise lol

My gosh everyone is losing so much more weight then me.
How far out are you Jovie?

where abouts? I'm in cmcSouthern New Jersey too
I am in camden county. Sewell/turnersville area.

I took 2 weeks. I am exhausted but most of my work I can do from my desk. You will be tired. If you move A lot at your job I would definitely take 4 weeks. My surgeon would have liked for me to take at least 3 but I had compromise with 2 and light duty for an extra 3.

My sister had RNY 2 years ago and felt the same way you feel... It will pass and you will be so glad you had the surgery. Just try to hang in there. I promise it gets better. We are all here to support you! These are just bumps in the road.

I also had severe gerd with sleeve that is why I was revised to RNY. I do believe now it was dumping. It happened again today after drinking crystal light lemonade which is what I had when it happened during my post. I will no longer be drinking anything with any artificial sweeteners and sticking to just Water and propel. I will be calling my surgeon tomorrow to question why I was not told to stay on my dexilant while I heal. Hmmmm thank you all!!! Good luck!

Anyone have a revision from sleeve to bypass? If so how much more weight did you lose? I have lost another 30 pounds to date and my surgeon told me I should only lose about 10.... Worried I might keep losing and get myself in trouble.
