  2. I too had nausea & vomiting up to 4 days post-op, hated everything & everyone & doubted my decisions, but I am now 2 weeks & 1 day post-op and feel so much better, just tired all the time. I'm down 15 lbs. and just looking forward now to a happier me! You will feel better soon too!
  3. Hi all, I was also sleeved on June 30th. (8 days now) I had a rough start, nausea & vomiting for 3 days then things started getting better afterwards. I "thought" I was going to be able to go back to work right way, but my body & doctor said noooooo. So... Here at home drinking protein shakes, smoothies and broth!
  4. Yes, i feel like a bubbling feeling when I drink. Im 4 days post-op, I usually have to drink and walk around, can't sit and be still. ????
  5. Oh boy why do I have to be the different one? I was sleeved on the 30th (and also had gallbladder out) I'm still having a tough time! Today's 4 days and my voice is finally coming back, I had a bad reaction to anesthesia. I was vomiting since day 1 (worst feeling ever)! Today I woke up feeling much better! Ugh the struggle IS real!!!
  6. Almost at the hospital, good luck my fellow June 30th sleevers! Now I'm nervous!! ????
  7. I'm also having my surgery tomorrow and so excited! Good luck!!
  8. My surgery is also June 30th!! So happy and anxious!
  9. I'm BAD... I'm also on my 2 week pre-op (day 9) and I snuck an Oreo cookie that I had been thinking about for about 4 hours at 3am! I stood in front of the frig and sucked it down .... Went back to bed and hated myself! :-(
  10. I'm also having my gallbladder removed at the same time as my sleeve procedure. My doctor had to keep both separate since I'm self-pay for the sleeve and going through my insurance for the gallbladder. All my hospital pre- op testing was included in the sleeve payment, the hospital told me I had to meet my deductible for the gallbladder surgery, but they're billing me for that. I'm just glad it's all happening at the same time, next Tuesday! :-)
  11. Hi, I live on the border of Broward & Palm Beach County. Having my sleeve procedure June 30 at Holy Cross Hosp. I'm getting a little impatient right now, can't wait!!
  12. I'm June 30th also and can't wait! I sometimes feel a little nervous but when I think of the outcome, my fears slip away! Let's see how we feel June 29th! Good luck & drink up!
  13. @@natnat919 hope your surgery(ies) go great! I'm also having my gallbladder out at the same time and can't wait to hear from you how it went. My date is June 30th.... 8 days away and soooooo excited!! Please keep us updated! I'm curious to know how I'll be feeling afterwards.
  14. Ugh I started my 2 week pre-op diet today too and I'm getting real hungry! I need to stay focused. It's lunch time and all I can think of is food. I'm praying for self-control.
  15. Praying all went well for you, keep us posted.
  16. I'm scheduled to have my gallbladder removed & sleeve surgery at the same time. I'm having it done June 30th. Getting excited!!
  17. June 30th for me, I can't wait!!
  18. Yes I'm having the Sleeve & so excited!
  19. I love your videos!! Thank you so much!
  20. I'm so excited myself! My surgery date is June 30, can't wait!!
  21. I've also chosen not to tell anyone, although I'm having my gallbladder removed at the same time. My family & friends just think that's all I'm going in for. My husband is the only person that knows and has been so wonderful with me. I just want to avoid the negative comments & those few people I KNOW will tell me not to do it.
  22. Oh good to know, I'm planning on going back to work 6 days after my June 30th surgery. I really need to get back to work ASAP since it's a fairly new job. I also sit most of the day, I just have to make sure to get up and walk a lot.
  23. So excited too, having my sleeve in June 30, I can't wait! I'm starting my pre-op diet next week. Not looking forward to no coffee :-( I'm also going to miss my occasional glass of wine. But I know in the long run it'll all be for my good!
