    Always Hungry!

    I am a year out, and I have yet to have stomach growling hunger, but lots of times I feel acid reflux, or a feeling of emptiness . Acid reflux wants something to gnaw on, I found for myself, I really had to listen to my body, and try many things. I eat or Protein drink 6 times a day My acid is bad and take PPI daily sometimes twice, For me depending on time of day, I will try a cracker with ham or tuna - I find easy carb helps with the acid, but I don't want to eat a whole lot of carbs, so I will make it with protein every time If I eat like a steak or chicken, I probably will have 4 oz and be lucky to eat 2tbsp of veggies , but if I over eat , my acid comes back in a short time, making me feel like perhaps I am hungry, but I know it's not, so these times I will drink something thick, like a partial shake, or 1/4 cup of milk, Empty feeling- sometimes I feel empty- weird description , maybe it's me missing the gnaw of acid reflux ..... And I will try something again thick and then move to Water When I am busy I don't think about any of it, and could probably get away with only drinking for days, Everyone is different, and you need to find out what works for you!!

  3. I lost hair for about 6 months , I chopped my hair to bob and layered the heck of it , no one really noticed enough to mention it anyhow, and now it's shoulder length and loving the layers

    I got down to 160 within 30 days , and then a pound every week, I got down to 142-146 in 6 months from 179 surgery date, and am struggling to lose the last 5-10 lb to 135 but it's just a number, and I know I look pretty decent, no lose skin issues , I want to start back in weights again next month and focus on strength training Hair loss - yes it started at about 4 months out to about 9 months, I layered the hell out of my hair and have cut a lot off as it comes back , I did the Biotin , and 80 grams Protein for most of this time. By the way I just turned 40, and have an athletic build and previously worked out a lot so when my nut said 135 , she also said depending on my muscle tone I could end up at 140. Feel free to pm if anyone wants information and doesn't want to post

    I am not s vet - but I have heard the 5 day reset diet works well to get things moving again, Some say go back to basics - don't drink till 30 minutes after you eat , get your Protein up to 100, eat low carb Start moving again or more Good luck,

I know I have read on here that surgery can change your metabolism , and there's people out there that can gain weight anything over 1200 calories , I am partially terrified I may have slowed down my metabolism and then another part of me , thinks I need to be more strict, I am 11 months out, and currently average 1100-1400 calories per day, protein 80 most days - should I be at 100gram of protein? Exercise: to be honest - just restarted now after six months lull that I have time - old job I easily walked 10,000 in a 12 shift , and up to 17000, so I simply didn't have the time with a two hour commute daily, but I have switched jobs and now I can work it into my day , I have started excel using for the past 2.5-3 weeks. I am 5ft 6 and currently weight 142-145 and have been holding this weight since February - NUT goal is 135 , so yes I have a normal body mass index, I also have read that if you don't lose any weight in 3 months your considered in maintenance, Has anyone come managed to lose more after a large lull? I am satisfied where I am at, I just panic about this 10-15 lb regain at year two , so hence I really want to get goal. And to have the regain be at where I am, I am hoping exercising will help, I am currently. Doing couch two 5 k twice back to back every second day, on the ground or I do a full 5km on treadmill using the app 2.5 times till 5km is up. and I go to the gym when I can - usually once or twice a week - it will be more next month , once my life stabilizes a bit better My treadmill says I burn approx 350 calories Vitamins - I have to admit , I forget probably more days than I take them, I aim to take the following multi, biotin , b complex, Mecca, silica, Health: polycyclic ovary syndrome , Advice, concerns, lecture? I am open to any and all advice , - kick my butt I won't be offended.

    Living at Goal weight

    I hope you find a happy spot, I am close to NUT goal and struggling with the last 7-10 pounds and I am 11 months out

Yes I take one at 430 or I pay for it at night I tried to convince my doctor for two per day but he changed my one Ned to a prescription that causes my stomachs to empty faster - it makes me have really bad stinky gas darts so I have stopped I can't have anything with Spuce or tomato or it gets ugly - not sure if two per day would help cause I can't think about taco meat for dinner even after my daily pill I drink a lot of warm things to tame her down .., I am at six months out now with reflux so I imagine I will have it for life now .......
  15. I hope so ! I went grocery shopping today and bought the same stuff I have been eating ???? I think I need to kick my own butt and get into a proper gear I am not counting I am not taking all my Vitamins etc I need to get my act together
  16. Grape Gatorade - coffee tea and homemade hot cocoa protein drinks is what I drink and I find for myself water doesn't always agree - sleeve can be a bit finicky
  17. I am 6 months out , and have been thinking I need to go back to measuring. For me I feel empty and not hungry. I need something every few hours . I need warm to room temp foods. I can't do cold shakes I also can't do any spices or acidly foods with any tomatoes because of reflux Most days I have a shake and eat some Jerky peanuts As Snacks but now lately crackers are now a big hit for me as they don't bother the tummy I eat probably 6 bites each sitting 4-6 times a day unless it's easy sliders ( like crackers) they are creeping in I think cause I am so bored and need some snack ideas or something small for when I am at work ( biggest issue) and guess what before w l s I was never a cracker fan - loved bread but it sure doesn't like me anymore. And I have slimmed or felt gross over it I don't ever eat I tried to eat a half of a sandwich last week and slimmed until I threw up. And for some reason chicken nuggets don't do well either ( tried three times in last 3 months while on road trips - no go and full on slime I hate the full feeling as I feel it's stuck on my chest as someone mentioned. But I also don't like the empty feeling either I do try and have meat daily (chicken,roast, hamburger , steak etc) obviously I can eat more oz of nuts than meat I just try to stop at a handful I am worried I am going to become a grazer and eat nothing but sliders . I have a few more pounds left till I am goal , but am worried how to maintain for ever And I hope one day I can and drink cold again - not that I can't it just makes me uncomfortable and spices and sauces would be great - I think I need some new ideas for foods that will agree with me

    Sugar free hot chocolate

    Organic powdered cold press cocoa 2tbsp and two tbsp of Splenda or equivalent . Splash of vanilla almond milk and hot water calories 70 for cocoa 10 for almond milk cool it a bit and add protein powder or liquid
  19. Aug 5 low bmi - down 20-23 lbs I had a four week stall then in October 3l lbs los ms I have 13 lbs to hit goal so it'll be a journey

    Aug 5 and 23 lbs down I had a month stall but scale is now moving slowly I was hoping to get the 10 lb avg per month as the rest of you ????but it's not happening , and I am okay as losing turtle pace , as long as I finish the journey

    Acid Reflux

    Also avoid chin to chest - playing on phone or iPad for more than 10 minutes at a time and avoid laying down after eating - if she is getting acid feeling in throat. I take prescription and I still suffer , I am eating but need to be careful of bite sizes chewing and texture on top of avoiding all the citric , acid foods , so now I take pickle juice Zantac and my PPI - some days are better than others and a I am patiently waiting for this to be over
