That was awesome!!!! I am over 400 lbs. I got the Vertical Sleeve 4 1/2 weeks ago May 28th. You are an inspiration. My doctor felt i needed the Gastric bypass. But due to scar tissu from my c-section. He did the vertical sleeve. I am hoping for great results. HW 482; SW 442; CW 434.

YES!!!!Every strange pain I get makes me worry that something seriously wrong is happening, even though the nurses in the hospital explained most of my pain away. Is anyone else super paranoid about every little pain you've had since leaving the hospital?

How did you know your internal suture popped?Hi! I was sleeved on 5/6 had some serious set backs along the way (allergy to meds put me back into the hospital & internal suture popped) so I was out of commission for the first 2 weeks. Here it is 6/2 and I'm 15lbs down. I've had a stall over the past week but I'm hoping that passes. I meet with the surgeon on Thursday and I'm hoping he clears me for more exercise besides walking.

Yes he did explain and I trust him totally. I just feel lost. I truly believe I received exactly what I needed. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hi my name is Tywannia. My Surgery was 10 days ago. On May 28th I arrive to the hospital with my team Tywannia's Angels15 strong. I went into the OR thinking I was getting the Gastric bypass. When I woke up I was told I got the vertical sleeve. Almost 8 years ago I was blessed with a fine young man. I had a c-section that caused a tremendous amount of scar tissue. Make it impossible to do the Gastric bypass. I am still confused. Help.
