  1. I was throwing up Monday night(day of surgery) and Tuesday night. They finally found some meds that worked. Mine was basically from my allergies. My nose was draining into my belly make me sick. Today was better. No throwing up and they made me eat some pudding before I left the hospital. I ate a little with no problem and got to come home. I am having trouble drinking water because of all the drainage so I am drinking some punch to cover the Taste of the drainage. My right side is very sore, left side not at all. I hope that today is a step in the right direction and it keeps getting better everyday!!
  2. I had two bad nights (mon and Tuesday) of puking all night long. Then sleeping all day all. I think that that is better now. My right side is really sore. I haven't done a lot of walking, but some. Still burping like crazy, which might have something to do with me feeling sick. I am so hoping tomorrow is a better day. I don't know how much more of this I can take.
  3. Tomorrow is mine to. I am doing ok except for the isopure drinks. Taste very bad and it almost came back up. Good Luck tomorrow!!!
  4. Tomorrow is all liquid!!! Praying that it goes fast!!!
  5. Today is reality check, house is clean and laundry is all done except for what we are wearing. Groceries bought for next week for daycare, our family, and my Special diet things. I am ready for this, I believe!!! Down another 2 lbs and hopefully Monday can hit my Goal weight for surgery. I have everything I need including my RX already. I have one more day, can't wait till Monday!! I have been over weight since I was in middle school. I am looking forward to being half the person I am today!!! Check in at 8am for 10am surgery and I am first, so hopefully no delays!!! Hoping and praying to come home Tuesday!!! Good luck all those with up coming rebirth days!!!!

  8. They ALWAYS give you worst case, just in case it happens. I have heard all but good stories by lurking on this page. You will do fine and this will soon be a distant memory!!! Good Luck!!!
  9. I have been on pre-op diet since June 2. I lost about 2lbs a day the first couple of days now I am about a lb every day. The nurse said your body kinda goes into starvation mode and could stop at any time. They said that it is just your body adjusting. No worries you will get there:)
  10. They submitted mine to insurance on Thursday and called on Tuesday after Memorial Day and scheduled for the 15. It does happen fast when it happens:) good luck!!

  13. I weigh 243 and want to lose about 90 lbs. I am hoping that I can reach that within the first year. I have already lost about 20lbs and surgery is scheduled for the 15, so less than a week away!!
  14. I am having a sleeve done on June 15, with Dr. Price.
  15. I am having my sleeve on Monday. I have been over weight since high school. I have lost and gain over the years but can not ever keep the weight off. I am excited to be able to finally lose and show my extended family that you can do it. I have no support from my husbands side of the family (they think I am taking the easy way) and my hubby is trying to diet with me. I believe he is getting frustrated because I am currently on my pre-op and I am losing about 2 lbs a day, he has not lost but a few pounds total. I am excited to get this started and I started at 260ish lbs. I am down to 244. I am happy with the way things are progressing and look forward to getting down to 165-160. I hope this doesn't change my relationship with my husband as we were high school sweethearts and been married for 20 years.
  16. June 15, also. Day 6 of pre-op diet. 2 shakes a day and 2 light meals a day (3 oz chicken, 1/4 cup carbs, 1/2 cup of limited veggies) not bad right now. 2 bottles of isopure, sf Popsicles and broth, the day before surgery with nothing after 10pm. Keep me updated on your progress!!
  17. I am on June 15, excited and I am on day 6 of my restricted diet. Now bad so far. Glad I can still eat raw carrots, gives me something to crunch! I go on liquids only the day before, but doesn't have to be clear. I have lost 23 lbs through my 3 month diet and up till now. I have told my parents who were not happy, I have posted it on my Facebook page and have told the four families that I watch their kiddos. I didn't tell my in-laws, but my hubby did. I DONT LIKE THEM AND THEY STRESS ME OUR. So I have not even been around them since starting my journey in January. I am trying to enjoy the transformation and not hear any negative comments from people who are suppose to be supporting me through this journey. I wish you good luck and see you on the losers bench!!!
  18. I am on June 15 also!! Good luck and see you on the other side:)
  19. I am scheduled for June 15!!!
  20. Shannon keep me updated on your progress and I will do the same:)
  21. I am excited and nervous, but I am ready to get this started. I went to informational meeting on Jan 8, 2015. Started nutrition classes in Feb, had to go once a month for 4 months for insurance to cover the operation, had my pre-op appt on the 3 of June along with EKG, blood work and chest X Ray. I am on my pre-op diet now and doing good. I got to different kinds of protein shakes, tried chocolate (which is not my favor flavor) put ice in it and didn't do so well. So I tried vanilla last night and it made me physically sick. This morning tried the chocolate again, but put it in the freezer for a bit and did good. Going to Vitamin shoppe today to try and get some other flavors. If any of you are the same day, I would like to keep in touch with you so we can walk through this together!!!
  22. I have my surgery on June 15-I start a restricted diet today. I am excited but nervous. I can eat up until the day before surgery. The protein shakes I bought don't taste very good and the full me up to where I don't want to eat. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone else have a date close to mine?
