    Male Before and After Pictures

You know I worked out religiously 4 days a week with weights and aerobics for almost 20 years, I ate like a horse eating any and everything. I just looked like a big man like Hoss on Bonanza. After realizing that my body wasn't going to change and my health was deteriorating I got the surgery almost 4 months back worked out in exact same manner with 40 lbs. down since then I look like you do. People are like wow do you work out twice a day. It is amazing the damage too much food and beer can do to you. Slowly but surely it was taking me out. As we all see Moderation is the Key! I'm trying to stay aware and tell myself why I did this... The best decision I could have ever made!

Guy's Room - Calorie target 9 months out?

Speaking of correct amount of calories... I have been putting artificial sweeteners in my coffee for the last night months. I want to mix that up and start using sugar as well. I am not really happy with all of this sweetener stuff. Do any of you use actual sugar? Will this added sugar hurt my efforts? I think not but I am not really sure.. What is your experiences as men. I usually have 2 cups of coffee per day....

Guy's Room - Calorie target 9 months out?

I have been here for months viewing the ladies info mosly because of a lack of male posts. I am 3 months out and I have mirror stats of you all, this is something. I am at a plateau and have been for 2-3 weeks. I have lost 36 lbs. post op but I am stuck. I am losing major inches and people say I look like a diiferent person. And I attribute that to lifting weights 30 min and doing aerobics 30 minutes, 4 days a week. We are all doing the same thing. This is humorous as I felt like I was out on an island all along. It is concerning not to see that scale move and very discouraging. I too take in about 1200 to 1350 calories a day and with the workout probably burn 250-300 calories a day so it makes me say how can the needle not be moving. I am also not regular, when I am regular the weight drops quick but when I am not, I feel like a do now. I think I will be trying to find some cheap apricots or prunes and snack on them for Snacks. If my mind wanders enough I too feel like "is this it, is the honeymoon over" and I am just 3 1/2 months out... PLEASE, keep the posts coming, this is the closest comparisons I have got to myself since the surgury in August!
  6. You know i have been viewing this site for months, (sleeved August 11) and the Overwhelming consensus was that everyone was telling everyone about their surgery. About 5 out of the thousand people I viewed was doing it. I finally see more than one person in a row saying they are not telling anyone. I am in the minority as well. I am not and have not told anyone. Just my significant other, not even my kids who are living with us know. I just think it is a private journey, my private journey my. People at work think i am losing weight and complement me everyday but just think i am really working out hard and cutting back on food. And in reality they are right. I work out and walk and run 5 days a week and i am devoted to change. That is all anyone needs to know. Just my private "two cents". Dont be made at me folks, just what I been feeling for 8 months now...
  7. Lol... Got my sleeve on 8/11 as well. In same boat you are with stall... Down about same amount fluxuating at around 19-22 lbs for past at least 2 1/2 weeks... It doesn't make sense how you could eat so little ~800-850 calories and work out/walk 5 days a week and not lose weight... We all have heard of the starvation mode body takes on but come on... Lol... You have to laugh. Crazy thing is doing all of this time my clothes are falling off and inches are coming off quickly. All of this during past few weeks with no weight loss and sometimes a pound gain... Funny thing is, if you check everyone that says what we say you will see in 5 months they are all down 40 to 60 lbs in 6 months... So I'm just waiting and being patient... Day of: 266 Now: 245
