My peeps.

You guys are the greatest. No bail attempts needed on this Friday.

I hit the heavy bag enough at the gym this morning to take most of the fight outa me. Most of it.

Met my son for Messican this afternoon and a pair of 'ritas took the rest of the fight.

Packing my bags now......gonna depart at 5:00am or sooner tomorrow morning. Heading to my parents hometown. 5hr drive if I push it.

Mom's been really ill lately. Gonna haul ass at o'dark'o'clock and beat traffic and get there to her favorite breakfast spot and be sitting at her table when Dad brings her in for brunch. Surprises will be had. Gonna stay for Church with her on Sunday and for my nephew's baseball game on Monday night. Probably smoke some bbq while I'm there for the gang on whatever grill is available.

I miss my family badly.....this is a much needed long weekend with them. Just me and them.

Mornings gathered around the coffee pot are where the rubber meets the road....shyt gets real with that crowd over morning brew.
