  1. my insurance didnt have a requirement but i did have to lose it per my surgeon because of my liver needing to shrink, and 20 lbs in 2 weeks on a liquid for someone who was eating so many calories a day (like myself) was easy, i lost 23 in 2.5 weeks.

i would def voice your opinion to the surgeons office and whoever made the decision to change it. best of luck to you though!

    sending you positivity

  2. Hi all

It's been a while but I feel so guilty and horrible about not using my tool early on to its full potential. I lost my way sometime around the holidays (surgery July 2015) and now feel like I lost the opportunity to really lose the weight.

I've lost 50lbs since July and feel like it's not enough. My HW 291, SW 273, CW 224. I clearly have not made my goal and am having a hard time to refocus.

What has worked for you all?

Thanks for any support and encouraging words you can offer.

I know exactly how you feel...I am facing the same challenge. Had surgery 7/2012, did great...but, as of today have regained 20 pounds . I just joined this site to find the support and motivation. I am 62 yrs old.

  3. You really can continue to lose weight.

However, the important thing is that you recommit and take action NOW.

Since you've posted here, it seems like this is a turning point for you.

But nothing will change if YOU don't change your behaviors -- eating, drinking, moving, and other tools (you know what they are).

    Recommit. Change. Win!

    yes yes!

sometimes we just have to reset our brains and remember we are this strong!

  4. Don't beat yourself up! we all say that ! but its easier said than done when its you having the issue, trust me I'm the best cheerleader but when it comes to my plateau i am clueless!

i am constantly trying new things to get past this stall, but i have to def get out of my own mind.

Don;t give up and just keep trying new things. if you need someone to chat with please PM me, i don't know if i give good advice but I am a darn good listener :)

and who knows maybe we can get through our stalls together~

    :D :P

  5. i can have caffeine and he discourages carbonation but knows in the world sometimes you have to make your own choice, and diet dr pepper is my kryptonite.

i have had a few sips and i have to say it hurt so bad and i burped so much i dont want anymore....i also got them out of my life before surgery...

now if he tried to take my coffee away....there might be trouble...

  6. if you have to show her and justify the change in your life for the better, she isnt the one for you!

people will judge and have an opinion all the time..

i have a ton of support from my partner but we did have to have the discussion of it being about ME ..just about me and no one else.

congrats on the changes and making a decision to change your life!!

  7. yea i was the same way as well, i felt like i had been in a car accident by two weeks in, just generally sore and achy and had a pain in my side. My surgery team told me it was from maybe straining a muscle or from sleeping sitting up or on my side which i did often! i couldnt sleep in my bed until around week 3, i just couldnt get up..those muscles are weak for a while!

fast healing to you! and congrats
