  1. First don't beat yourself up about it. We all fall short from glory every now and then. The key is not to over indulge in it. Try to find alternatives, I like Quest Protein chips, it took some getting use to but now their great. I eat pure Protein Bars too, great for that sweet toothe. We just have to switch it up a little bit to continue on the healthy side of life. Trust I have had a snack or 2 lol even a meal or 2 off track but I just don't over do it and get back on track.

  2. I can't wait to hit that 100 mark as well but I have a long way to go I was sleeved 5/29 and I'm down 41lbs sometimes I see the difference and sometimes I don't but I'm not discouraged at all. I have been overweight my entire life and like just about everyone else I hate going out I still don't like going to the mall. I just want to get down and stay down. The little bit of self confidence I do have has risen up but I'm still to myself and trying to work on myself. Being a single parent and working full time can be a bit overwhelming at times but coming to these forums really brightens my day and gives me hope.

  3. Thank you everyone for your opinions and support as well, I honestly did not make a decision when I posted this, I simply stated that Im not too fund of keeping the child. Ms jadyn, everyone has their own beliefs there were mixed reviews on the situation the only reason you stuck out so much was for your choice of words of this is sickening to you. I have not figured out what is the best course of action yet but I have spoken to my Obgyn and she has told me either route I take would be safe which was very reassuring. Thank you all for your opinions. I wrote this post because I honestly have no support and I thought turning to my "bariatric family" seeing how hard it is when some of us have little to no support when it came down to the decision of getting surgery, would be a little more understanding and a lot less judgmental. If I wanted to be bashed about being pregnant I would have told my entire family and let them crucify me themselves. As I stated before I'm still weighing my options because this is an extremely delicate situation so thank you for your input I do value your time

  4. So today I took a test and it came out positive...... I'm 3 weeks post and apparently I conceived the week before my surgery. I am beyond scared and I honestly don't want to keep the child I have a 1 year old as it is. Just in the mist of a storm right now

  5. Yeah I turned 23 ten days before my surgery. Nice to meet someone else my age!! Are the isoprotein ones the fruity drinks? I might have to try them...I'm getting sick of premier Protein chocolate shakes!

I'm exhausted too. My NUT didn't give me a specific calorie range, but I've been getting, on average, 400 to 550 calories a day. How about everyone else?

Its pretty good just something new I'm so ready to eat fish and tuna right about now.

  6. Hey I had my sleeve 5/29, we sound around the same age I'm 22, nice to meet you I had my 2 week fu appt. I'm a bit jealous you moved to puree foods she told me I have to do another week of full liquids and I am seriously going crazy lol. I'm struggling with Fluid intake I went to GNC today and got isoprotein it has 40g of Protein but I can hardly drink it. My almond milk is my gateway drink lol. I'm not getting enough calories in that's why I'm so exhausted but its so hard to get it all in.

  7. I told my friends even though some had negative views they still support me and ask about my recovery my family was supportive at my job I only told a few who I talk to and one had the bypass which inspired me to get the sleeve, she helps me a lot to see the positive side so I'm very thankful, but to each is own your friends are supposed to be there regardless of the circumstances that's y they are our friends and if they can't accept your lifestyle change apparently their not true friends

  8. I bought sf Popsicles I can only eat half of it and I melt it in the sink their so nasty but sf cherry Jello I can't get enough of it I already loved jello but sf wasn't bad at all

I'm still on my pre-op liquid diet, but I've been having Luigi's sugar-free Italian ice. I just wish it came in more flavors than just cherry and lemon.

Good luck how long is your pre op diet?

  9. Why has no one said anything about Italian ice???? This is the best stuff for my liquid. Its fat free only 9g of sugar and dairy free etc. I longed for something tasty since my pre liquid diet and this has truly given me hope. I know it sounds fat but I'm tired of Protein Shakes n the other non tasty products I've been on since my journey. Since my surgery 5/29 I can not get a lot of Fluid in and that 1 small ice filled me up but I'm happy the weight is still dropping I'm 25lbs down over all and happy.

  10. My doc told me g2 I have been sipping on it for 2 weeks now it helps but my problem is I get full so quickly I take 3/4 sips n I'm done I was excited I had frozen yogurt yesterday but 2/3 spoon fulls n I cudnt handle it so I gave it away. But I'm going to get some unflavored Protein so I can mix it with something so it won't be this bad
