  1. I wonder if I could be approved for a panniculectomy or brachioplasty at my current weight (or maybe a little less).  I can not take these flaps anymore!

Ugh. well you should go to your primary, and a derm, all the Drs you can and complain about the skin, and the issues so you can get it documented.

  4. A tiny bit disappointed that I turn 21 tomorrow and still won't know what alcohol tastes like (I was sleeved less than 3 weeks ago), but getting my health and life on track are totally worth it <3

  5. Does anybody know what a 1x translates to in regards to sizes for women?

  6. My weight loss has now eclipsed my current weight.  I have lost 199 pounds and weigh 198 pounds.  One more pound until I have lost an even 200 pounds, and only 18 pounds until goal!

Yeah, I am in the same position. This was my original stretch goal, because I just wanted to be under a 32 BMI to qualify for WLS but it looks like I am going to have to go for normal BMI just in case insurance gets crazy in the next few years.

Congrats! I'm jealous! I am trying to get there before my 2 year anniversary. Taking forever :(

  9. As of today, I'm halfway to goal! 70 pounds down, 70 more to go... And I'm just under 10 pounds away from hitting onederland! I'm 3.5 months out from surgery today and I have to say that even though the weight loss seems slow at times, I'm very happy to be where I am right now.

  10. I'm baking cookies for the first time in a really long time. I'll let you guys know how they turn out.

It isn't bad, but it is a pain in the ass. Fat head pizza crust tastes way better and is a lot easier. There are a lot of recipes that just aren't worth the time for me to make as a single person. That is why I mostly just eat a piece of meat and veggies.

I don't really like cauliflower based recipes. I made them all experimenting last year. I would rather use Bob's Red Mill Low Carb bake mix or something else than cauliflower. It is a lot of work for very little pay off.

  12. Today I did an experiment and ate my veggies, well it was mushrooms which aren't really veggies with my meat. The result was the same as when I eat salads out. Protein didn't sit in my stomach as long, and I wasn't full/satisfied as long. Going to stick with eating my veggies separate

I don't eat chicken really. I don't buy it for home. I will have chikfila nuggets when I am out and sometimes I will get wing stop. Chicken is too dry for me. I don't have a good number of ounces maybe 3? I dunno I see chicken as mainly a waste of time. If I like thighs my opinion might be different.

I have wondered for a while how people can eat all this food in quantities that I can't. I figured it out yesterday. I had always thought this was why, but I have never done it at home with a normal portion of steak. The amount of protein you get with a salad is very minimal at a restaurant so I mainly attributed it to that. My steak experiment yesterday kinda cemented I'm going to be eating how I normally eat forever.

Yeah that's how I normally eat. Veggies as their own meals/snacks. Eating them with my protein didn't leave me as full for as long. I'm almost 2 years out, thought I could change it up but nope.

Yeah that is why I like to try new things when there isn't a rush. Like now I know I can make these cookies to take some place if I need to take something somewhere and still have something I can eat. I make a low carb sausage gravy so if I could fake some buttermilk biscuits I would be living like Boss Hog on the weekends

I haven't tried it. I mean to get it to see if I could fake some buttermilk biscuits with it. Maybe in the fall.

There is no recipe, it is a mix and you just add an egg and butter or coconut oil. It is not protein based and not for the losing phase.

Gooddees.com chocolate chip. They are good without being binge worthy. 2 were enough for me. I got 14 cookies out of the mix using my cookie scoop. They would be good to take some place for a pot luck or whatever. No one would know they are low carb.

Yeah I pretty much have to buy sleeveless dresses because I can wear a size 8 in dresses as long as it doesn't have arms, if it has arms I need a 10. I wear blazers or other jackets.

If I only get one plastic surgery it will be my arms

If you lose another 10 to 15 pounds the skin might not be as bad. I noticed the last like 15 pounds I lost emptied out some of the skin and made it a lot easier to deal with.

I'm doing well. My loss as slowed but I'm not really trying that hard anymore. I'm happy with a pound or 2 here and there for now. I kind of want to lose another 17 so I can have a 200 pound loss, but I'm kinda of tired to losing weight. I wear size 10 and sometimes 8, so I really can't complain.
