I would go see your doctor. I had this symptoms (the pain was absolutely terrible) and it was thrombosis in the intestines. I'm not saying you have it, but if you don't get better you should see him/her. It may be something that needs treatment.

Hi there! I'm 10 days out and I'm having diarrhea since Wednesday (5 days). I'm following a diet that requires to drink milk or yogurt 6x a day. I'm wondering if I developed lactose intolerance. I'm seeing my nutritionist tomorrow morning but I was wondering if it's common to develop this disease after WLS. Did anyone develop it?

It is only a reason if it is too uncontrolled 'cause it can be dangerous to binge eat short after the surgery. If it was an absolute contraindication, half of us wouldn't be eligible for the surgery.

My surgery was delayed before because I was psychologically unstable. But that was for the best, as I really wasn't prepared for the changes I would be going through.

I believe it is good to be honest, so you can decide if it is the best moment for WLS.

I identify so much with your story.

We have about the same BMI and I was just struggling to accept that I really need this surgery and that is the best choice for me right now.

I just hope I do not change my mind again before the surgery.

By the way, my surgery is only two days after yours.
