  1. @@CelesteMarie sorry it offends but I've lived here since 1980 so it's not a knee jerk perception. But then that's just my experience. Keep in mind I work on the strip so I see that side of it everyday. I know there are some good people here but they are the exception in my experience. @@Christinamo7 thank you and ha I know just what u mean. Buying an 8 or a medium or small is a whole new world. @barryw yeah I agree. I'm still not society's version of tiny I don't even know if I'm considered thick or normal or what. Sad that it even matters.

    Don't waste your money

haha true dat. everytime i go down a size i buy like ONE pair of work slacks and then make due with the other couple sizes up until they are droopy on me. if i put them in the dryer for a long time they tighten up a bit so i can wear a 12 and 10 and 8 right now. the 14s are starting to sag but imma keep them as long as i can lol. congrats!

    Surgery day!

152.2 - officially down 80lbs. i never in my wildest dreams thought i would be saying this. you just don't understand. im such a lazy person. every time i'm up and doing fasted cardio at 7am it's a shock to me like i can't believe i'm doing it and i can't believe it's me. and when i want to stop before my time or calorie goal. i just don't. i don't know why i don't stop. i just don't. some part of me pushes on. this really is a life changer. i'll post a pic later. xoxo everyone!

  12. @@Tmitch817 gurrrrrlllll i got here and then i got all crazy thinking im still fat gotta go for size 4-6. society is a killer with weight/size issues. it's ingrained in our brains. plus i live in vegas. a town full of whores and douchebags but they all skinny lol.
  13. well first of all your doctor sounds like a jack ass. that being said. you do YOU. i know people who have lost without exercise and at least you're willing to be active in whatever way you can! that's super important! i haven't lost 130lbs but i've lost 80lbs (sleeved 7 months ago). i do run and lift weights but when i first started i was 240lbs and all i could do was walk. do what you can when you can and increase as you can. hopefully you can see someone else for post op visits! we got your back here. xo

    Sleeve

yeah im with @KindaFamiliar. im 7 months out and there are things i simply can't eat anymore such as bread and ice cream and most carbs. and now i just find i make good choices cuz being small and feeling good is more important than eating that piece of bread or whatever. so whatever you choose whether it's vanity or health reasons or whatever make that your motivator to eat right. i don't eat carbs or sugar at all. don't miss it that much either. best of luck!

    Surgery day!

alright well. im 155 today. great losses this week. i think my eventual goal is gonna be 125. i know that seems drastic. even to me. but i think that's what it'll take to look the way i want to. honestly. i was SUPER good on my carbs, sugar and working out this week. let's get it going for the weekend! have a great week everyone.

Why do people bash weight loss surgery?

oh yeah i hear that shit all the time. i love the "everyone who's had it has either gained the weight back or died" hahaha. it's ridik. i just ignore people. they think it's the easy way out but we know better don't we? there's nothing easy about it. i work out five damn days a week and don't eat sugar or carbs. it's not less than any other "fit" person has to do to lose weight and get in shape. people are dumb. you'll always find supporters too. focus on that. xo

    Exercise and ravenous hunger.

same here. i just eat often. Protein protein protein and fat.

    Need advice pls....

its pretty disappointing that your doctor would say that to be honest. not very supportive. it comes off when it comes off just keep doing the right things. and yes, it is possible but like everyone is saying - this is a marathon not a sprint. best of luck to you!
