  1. I think I am addicted too! I am in UK no support groups here where I live in Wales so its Bariatric Pal to the rescue. Some posts make me laugh out loud, others make me want to weep they are so sad. So thanks to all the people who I read about and their messages, far too many to mention individually but please everyone, keep on posting!
  2. Yes the old big bras have got to go! I started out at 42 DD and surgery date 16 th July 2015, got measured professionally 23 October and now a 36 g or double g depending on make and style of bra. Am I happy yes and no, but my three new bras are beautiful and tho I say it myself I look good in them !

  4. Well done on your weight loss and your upbeat mood ! Totally agree about the target weight just go at your own speed and you will get there . It's 15 weeks today for me and I've lost over 4 stone and I feel great . The sleeve certainly lets me know if I am eating too much . If I am away from home I do my best to make a healthy choice and to date no alcohol has passed my lips !
  5. Well done it's a fabulous feeling

  11. No it's not the same hospital or doctor but I think that you will be in good hands. I found all the staff and surgeon to be kind considerate and competent at the job. I only had a bit of gas pain and on mentioning this I was given pain relief. Would I recommend them yes I would. Good luck to you x
  12. That is just how I weigh, you must have a camera in my bathroom, you will see some sights there!
  13. Hi no milk today where abouts are you. I'm in Pembrokeshire paid privately . Haven't found anyone remotely near me yet . Had my op 16 July this year so plodding on slowly but surely . This is a great website
  14. Elide That's a brilliant comment!
  15. I tried eating with my left hand this morning, it's slower bust quite frustrating. The wetabix never tasted so good as when I got it to my mouth. A good tip indeed.
  16. Oh that's a good tip about eating with the non dominant hand. Will try that today
  17. Hi back from holiday in Cyprus and happy to say I lost weight whilst there ! Three stone thinner than when I visited in May too. So glad I had this surgery. It's great to see that you are flying along with your weight loss. I am slow but steady so I'm hoping this will continue. Dined out last night but took a container with me and brought home what I did not eat. Might as well get the value as you are paying for it! So far I have stayed away from sweet stuff and no alcohol has passed my lips since early July. Never thought I would say it but not bothered if I ever have it again. All the best to you and any other UK sleeves reading this
  18. You will have to keep busy and just focus on a date in November. A real pain having that cancellation as I think you gear yourself up for a certain date, I know I did. Hope you get your date very soon
