    Diarrhea after fills???

I have had the same problems and I agree with whomever said what goes in must come out. my doc tells me liquids and shakes for 3 days after a fill then soft foods fo 2 then solids as tolerated. I also find that the higher protein shakes have a tendency to do this as well, plus most shakes are milk based which too much of can cause this as well. After a year to avoid this i take half of an immodium advaned. im NOT saying it is recommened but for me it is a personal choice as I do not care for this.

    Port hurts/slippage/reband???

it takes months for the nerves to reconnect after ANY surgery, I have had this with any surgery, be it knee stomach etc.. it could be just that the nerves are finally reconnecting and there will be some pain, where before even to touch the area it was probably numb. mine always start around 5-6 months after

    bad incisions site

I had the same problem with my port site, it wouldnt close and my job only made it worse. A month after my banding I went to the ER ( I work in the medical field and it was the only way to get co workers to hush up...lol) and the doc their restitched the incision site for me. He did consult a few surgeons to see if it was ok to do so far post op, but they gave him the go ahead. A week of sticthes and it healed fine, a bigger scar then I should have had, but I was more concerned about it not healing at all and infection. He said that the steri strips they use are horrible as the stomach skin is tougher then most, and the strips just dont do the trick and they should just stick with sutures. See if they will stitch it for you, again the scarring may be worse but better than an infection. My area was open over an inch wide andabout 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch deep, if that helps, again though ask.. it cant hurt
