Stupid Question, but oh well, I'll still ask...
Mooseknuckle replied to Coachthex32's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Not stupid at all very smart to ask . We all went through this and no way do any of us want to mess it up. But yes it does give a chuckle because I went through the same thoughts. Remember never over due the volume of what you consume. That uncomfortable feeling is to much . At least that is the way I was . You can still over eat after you heal . Good luck Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App -

Anyone eat hummus?
Mooseknuckle replied to spunkyheather's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
What is hummus. I have never heard of it . Lol yes I live a sheltered life lol. I am 16 months out and I still don't like the feeling of eating anything that has a solid base as in meats. I eat very small portions. I eat alot of my own possessed veggies out of my garden . I made a mild salsa . Grandma's old Recipe it called for sugar so I used stevia instead and it turned out great . I put it on all my meats and they are much easier to get down Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App -

Has anyone had these issues
Mooseknuckle replied to crissy79's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Crissy they have a great bariatric surgeon just north of you in boise Idaho at St Lukes Hospital. Dr Jim Valentine . He is excellent . I will bet he will help you. Boise Idaho. Look him up you have nothing to lose at this point. And just eat Activia yogurt to get the good bacteria growing in your system . I had issues like this and it caused extensive stomach acid. I was told the high acid killed all the good bacteria in my stomach. Once I ate yogurt for a week it cleared up. With lots of liquids I might add. Broths and such and Soups with low acid content. Sorry you are going through this . Good luck and you will be in my prayers. My name is Moose lol. Now I am a mini Moose ???? Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App -

I could only eat about a boiled eggs worth of food at a meal no matter what it was and if I took one bite to many it hurt and I broke out in the sweats . At first it was about 2 teaspoons of food . And yes gravy ,mayo, any condiment helps. I am only 16months out and I can now eat about 2 boiled eggs worth of food for meal. Good luck you are doing great Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

Leg Cramps...
Mooseknuckle replied to PreciousCargo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 16 months out from my surgery and these are the first leg cramps I have gotten . They are so bad I can't walk them out they are in my thighs and growing areas. But I did not take my bariatric vitamins all day either. And I do not think I drank enough water . I have found out if I take my vitamins and drink lots of water and Gatorade I never get them . But I just wanted to share with some newbies that it is something that can be controlled . Lots of water . I freeze my bananas then put them in blender with almond milk makes the best shake . Get my calcium and potassium. -

Mooseknuckle replied to LapGyrl's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I was asking if this would work not give your conceded butt advise I was looking for support thanks alot . I have never ran into a rude person on here till now. I have found through life even the newest person on a job or anything in life can teach you something have an open mind. Give help don't criticise people. I have had enough of that all my life dealing with being over weight. I am sorry I offended you by asking for help Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App -
