  1. I'm going on 18 months in, almost 240 pounds down and I still don't "know" that I can do it... With another 80-ish pounds to go, I'm doing what I can... But as things currently stand, I'm certainly not taking anything for granted...
  2. Ok people... A new week means a new topic... This week's is - What's your favourite GUILTY PLEASURE? I'm not talking food... I'm talking your secret love of The Village People, The Love Boat or Achy-Breaky Heart... Come on people, it's time to 'fess up... Share it with the BP world... What's your favourite guilty pleasure??
  3. Agreed... There's no more 'cheating'... You either stick to it or you don't... If you want - have... You answer only to you... And you choose your own course... And you take either the kudos for success or the blame for failure.. It's all about the choices...
  4. I don't remember what it was @@LipstickLady I can't open up the rest of the replies to have another look... It wasn't particularly nasty or anything... It was just a little unexpected and somewhat irrelevant... Tho it did make me smile..
  5. I concur... I, too, am here for me... My concern is not the welfare or success of others... My concern is my own welfare and success... If, in the process of helping myself, others are aided or assisted - so be it.. But if not, that's ok too... If that makes me an arse, so be it... If that makes me whatever it was I was called in someone else's Status Update this morning, so be it... As I said, I'm here for me... We each have to do this OURSELVES... We have to want it... We have to take responsibility for it... We have to do it.. This site contains so much help, so much support and so much 'give a sh*t'... Anything that someone, no matter where they are on their 'journey' (I f*cking hate that term), may need... It's all here... So whether you're a 'newbie', a 'vet' or somewhere in between (like myself at 15 months out, 230+ pounds down with another 80 or so to go) - use this site and the info contained in it to make yourself well... Seek out and take any advice that you feel you need... But for the love of all things cheese-related, be responsible for your own actions and decisions... And be f*cking nice!!!!
  6. I screwed this post up so it's actually down there below...
  7. Great work!!! Congratulations to you!!!
  8. I've always referred to hotdogs being made from 'lips and arseholes'... It's good to see that you 'Yanks' and us Aussies can have such things in common...
  9. What's brown and sticky? A stick!!
  10. Oh... In that case... Carry on!!!
  11. Awwwwwww... Thanx @ Oh wait... You weren't talking about me... RUDE!!! We're slowly taking over... The Aussies are comin'!!!
  12. And we're quite popular as well @
  13. Thanx for your input and advice everyone... I appreciate it very much...
  14. @@jane13 It's an honour to be held in such high regard... @@Daisee68 Apologies for the momentary hijacking of your thread...
  15. As the title suggests, I'm after some info re Calorie Cycling.. Has it worked for you? Has it not? Has it had the opposite effect to what you wanted? Do you even know what the hell I'm talking about?? I'll take anecdotal 'evidence' if it's YOURS (not the story of a friend of a mate whose cousin's housekeeper's neighbour's sister's dog walker's uncle's housemate tried it and lost blah blah blah... you know what I'm saying..) Yes, it's just another, possibly futile, attempt to break this f*cking stall... Thanx to all in anticipation of your assistance... Jason
  16. @@VSGAnn2014 @@Daisee68 I'm no expert on such matters of course but in my defense... Before one can win the heart of a lady one must win her attentions... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I just did precisely that... Not that winning hearts is my aim... I've won the heart I need... But i am the (alleged) resident creeper after all... So I've a reputation to live down to...
  17. Here's the love!!!! Oh wait... I'm not an 18 month post-op veteran... The love is leaving and will return on August 25... Good bye!!!!
  18. @@Oak Park Lorena Funny!!!!
  19. @@Daisee68 You don't need my input here... It's all been said anyway... You're all over this sh*t...
  20. There's a 'wrong place' to lose fat from? I want ALL mine gone... Of course, there are places I wish it'd go from before others... But ultimately, I'll take what I can get!! Keep your chin up @@stressing If you do the right things it'll all disappear eventually...
  21. A woman walked into a bar and asked the bartender for a Double Entendre... So the barman gave her one...
  22. Ok b*tches, that seemed to work well... Here's a new "What's your favourite..." This week, something completely different... What's your favourite joke?? Be it dirty or clean... Dad joke or pun... Post your favourite funny on the following pages... I'll start -
