I am a little over 9 weeks out (sleeved on 3/20/15) and went to the fair today. First time in 10 years I was able to fit into all the rides (and not get asked to leave due to the seat belt not being able to lock properly) and I had a blast! No stomach issues, found some Protein (turkey on a stick) and made sure to keep a bottle of Water at my side. Good Luck!

I only told 4 people in an office of 65 about my surgery and at first the attention was horrible. All the "wow, you look great " from people who never spoke to me before was hard. I was almost in tears, feeling like I was a horrible person before surgery. My boss told me to smile and say Thank you. So far it has worked. Now people are asking what I am doing to lose weight. My response is eat less, drink Water, drink water and exercise plus more of the drinking water. Which is all true. I bust my behind at the gym and truly eat a lot less. I had to get mind used to the compliments. It was very hard. Good luck to all!

I was sleeved on 3/20/15 and total weight gone is 35 pounds since surgery. I hit a 3 week stall that just ended a few days ago. I changed up my exercise routine and food intake and the scale moved again. I actually fit on the ALL carnival rides today..... first time since 2007. I was so happy I happy I cried. Good Job to everyone! It's not an easy journey, but it's YOUR journey, make the most of it.

New to this type of online stuff and don't usually join in, but I feel like I have hit a wall and might help so I don't want to give up. I was doing so well until 2 1/2 weeks ago. Down 42 pounds since January, 28 pounds since surgery on 3/20/15. Now, nothing in over 2 weeks! I am taking it very hard and feel like I should give in and get a Big Mac with extra sauce (just a thought... I have not caved, I try to exercise instead). I expected to lose tons of pounds at first like the people on TV. Has this happened to others or am I broken?
