  1. I know that makes sense. I do cardio and resistance weights.
  2. Yeah me to. I was looking in mirror and thinking there is no amount of diet or exercise that's going to get rid of that. ????
  3. I'm 2 1/2 months out and down 34 lbs. so it sound like ur doing pretty good. Give your body time to catch up. It will start coming off again.
  4. Thank u so much for taking the time and putting it into perspective.
  5. Why wait until tomorrow.... Start now. Decide that the next thing u do is for you again. Make that healthy choice like u did when u started. If u had bad choices for Breakfast so what start at ur next meal and make a change at each meal and before you know it u will be back on track. Good luck. ????
  6. I'm 5'8. My surgery day was 4/15/15. This is going to sound embarrassing I never asked what my goal weight should be or did my dr. Discuss this with me. But I'd be happy at 180.
  7. My surgery weight was 317. I'm now at 283. I don't get how a 1lb a wk is ok. So how do I figure out the percentage loss??
  8. Reading this makes me feel a bit better. But I'd give my first born to be one of the quick losers. Lol jkjk. ???? Thanks everyone.
  9. You think so ?? I know I shouldn't compare myself to others but I get frustrated when I see people at the same point as me and they are down way more Thanks for the feedback ????
  10. Hey there. I'm 2 1/2 mos. out and I'm only down 34lbs. It takes about a wk for my scale to move just 1lb. ???? I'm getting in all my water (70) I'm getting about 60-70 protein. & I'm eating about 900-1000 calories a day not doing more then 40 carbs. And I'm going to the gym about 4x a wk 1 hr. So what's really going on. ??!
  11. That's rite. Duh. It's the fat my dietician said I can only have 20 gm a day .... It was ok but yeah my favorite was the crust also.
  12. M&m maybe I read it wrong. I tried the crust less chicken pot pie. Could of swore it said 20 gm of sugar. Gonna go dig it out the trash and check lol
  13. I'm 5 wks post op. My dr said I can start trying different foods. I was probably able to get about 3-4 bites with a baby spoon. I don't think eating the whole thing in one day is a good idea due to the high sugar. My dietician doesn't want me to have more the 20 grams of fat a day. She wants me to eat more lean protein and veggies since I was mostly eating yogurt cottage cheese and soft cheese she said that's to much dairy. It's also hard to prepare a meal for myself when I know I'm only going to eat about 1/4 th of it. Just thought Atkins would be a good choice. But yeah ur rite to much sodium and processed.
  14. What about Atkins frozen meals?? I see their high in protein but also high in sugar.... About 22 gm for a full meal. Any takes on it.
  15. I had a small piece of wheat bread... I cut all the crust off. But now I'm worried because I've been reading that it can cause problems in my stomach. ????
  16. My dietitian told me "dumping" only happens to people who get gastric bypass not the sleeve.
  17. I'm 1 month post op and not sure how many calories I should be getting daily. I've read if your not getting enough calories it could stall weight loss.
  18. Lucky. I had pain for about a wk.
  19. Good luck on your surgery tomorrow. Give your self time to adjust and get back to your normal routine will take some getting use to especially if everything was focused around food. I decided to get my sleeve buy I had been on weight watchers for 3 yrs and would lose and gain the same 50 lbs. I was sleeved 4/15/15. And down 23 lbs. so I know it's a journey but at least it's a starting point.
  20. Long Beach. ???? sleeved 4/15/15. With dr. Owens ????
  21. It's my anniversary and my hubby wants to go out to eat. I'm only 1 month post op and still on soft foods. Anyone have any suggestions. ????
