30/60 drinking rule?
If you are supposed to eat several small meals, I don't know how you would get fluids in. I can't drink 30 minutes after, and 10 minutes before.

Cream of wheat
Does anyone else not feel the trade off of low protien is worth the calories in cream of wheat? I bought some and decided it isn't worth it. On the hunt for high protien puree....here we come refried beans and chs

6 days postop: parental issues
Maybe it's time for them to find a new place to live.

Measuring
Ya I track my protein, vitamins and water with fitness pal. I just wondered if I should feel pouch restriction with full fluids.
-
Measuring
Should I be measuring intake during full fluid stage? I can "drink" a whole can of Campbell low fat soup made with water and blended in magic bullet. It does take me about 20 minutes to drink it all, but get worried when people say they can only take in half a cup. Should limit my soups and yogurts?

Protein
How much protein were you all advised to take? I was told between 65-75g, but I noticed many were told way more than that. Just curious.

What Was Your Final "straw That Broke The Camels Back"
Having a positive test for diabetes (T2) and doc wanting to put me on Metformin, catching a glimpse in the mirror and looking 6 months pregnant when I am not, getting back boobs

Post op troubles
Every protocol is different. My doc said I could have protein when released from hospital, so long as it was mixed with water. I was on clear fluid 1 week and then full fluids 2 weeks. I had bad headaches for about a week after surgery. I think it was crap food and caffeine withdrawal. Remember, your body went through a major change. Be patient and keep getting in the protein and water.

I was sleeves on May 20 also! Good to hear you are doing so great!

What are you eating?!
Sleevedmadre, I am able to get in about 64oz water plus my 3 protein shakes (which I make with water also). It's like I am drinking all day long though. When I leave the house I have like 3 to go cups of stuff.

Face Breaking Out
I think part of it may be your body detoxing from years of crap. It comes out of the skin also.

Did they really take half my tummy?
I can easily eat a whole yogurt or pudding 100g container also. I think because pudding and yogurt (except Greek) are both quite thin maybe it is more of a "full liquid" than a solid?

Vitamins
Thanks all! I ended up taking two of my sons Flinstones and they stayed down. I will look into some other options!

Vitamins
So I have been taking celebrate multi chewable for a week. The past two days I have started vomiting after taking it. I tried crushing it and putting it in sugar free juice, pudding etc. Within 2 mins of it being down it comes back up. I need vitamins!! Any other recommendations for a good multi. I have no issues with the calcium.

Did they really take half my tummy?
I'm Nervous for soft foods. Being vegetarian I don't have the option for soft meats and such that are dense protien. Beans it is I guess...my poor husband haha

HELP....painful gas
Warm peppermint tea and walking. This also sounds weird, but getting on all fours and bringing the chest to the ground (like a puppy ready to play) really helps too. I learned that trick several years ago from a nurse when I had a different laparoscopic procedure.

Post op.
I too was nauseated and had dry heaves all through the first night and part of the second day. I wasn't allowed anything to drink until the day following surgery...it sucked. Nothing helped me either...except time. Trust that your body will work the anesthetic out and every single day you feel a million times better than the day before. Walk walk and more walking! It helps with everything post op. Sending healing vibes your way!!

Negative Comments from Family Members
I don't see what was so negative in his comments. All he said was you likely won't lose weight as easily as a man. He didn't say you wouldn't lose it. What he is saying is just factual. You are taking it too personal. Weight loss is not easy no matter what surgery you have.

Did they really take half my tummy?
I am 7 days post op today. I have been able to get protien shakes, fluids, Jello, etc in without any issues. I have had no nausea aside from anesthetic wearing off. I just started full fluids today and had 2cups reduced fat tomato Soup made with Water. I also managed a whole container of Source yogurt...although it is a little thin. Nothing has made me feel full. I am wondering if they actually cut half of my stomach out, or just took my money and put in 5 fancy cuts to make it look official ????

The Truth, Uncensored - Post-Sleeve
I had my surgery in Mexico as well. My family thought I was nuts, but the care and cleanliness was amazing. I would do it all over again. I had to stay 2 night at hospital and 2 at hotel afterward. I felt prepared to travel on the day to come home.
