I had aetna. I just had my surgery. U so not have to have a bmi of 40 for last two years. Only thru the three month program. They no longer require two year history. After the program I was approved in 5 days.

4 nut visits. U can look up requirements. Is it policy 0157. Search for that it comes up.

Surgery yesterday. Feeling pretty good. Walked twice now with no problem. I had a hiatal hernia when they got in there so they had to also fix that up. Wish everyone a speedy recovery.

It is the net amount. I gained in middle but ended up 1 lb under. Approved no problem.

According to my doctor yes.....I lost a lb. I am currently waiting on my approval from aetna.

Correct. It is a 3 month or six month program depending on doctor. Mine was 3 months.

My bmi is over 40 which is documented in my 3 month program. According to my doctor that is what they want to see with no comorbitities. Mine has been submitted. I will post my update hopefully soon

Aetna is no net weight gain. U cannot weigh more than your first weigh in.

They no longer have 2 year weight requirement.
