Just about to my 4 mo and cravings galore... mostly sweet! No fun!
-
Almost three months out, dropped a cup...
-
I don't anymore but around the 4 week I got the left side pain. I think it's just healing battle wounds
-
You filled your pouch to the brim and it froths over! It was either the slimies or baby throw ups for me...
-
5'9"...sleeved 5/20. I gave myself a generic goal weight based partly of the BMI calculators and a clothing size I think realistically I could achieve. But I set little goals for myself with a little reward once I reach them (down a size new pair of jeans that actually fit, ONEDERLAND which I just hit is a massage!)

When were u sleeved? I stopped getting the yuckies close to 5 weeks

Thank you! I've gotten over that first hurdle with some help from friends and family... it all makes complete sense and now I feel more prepared for the rollercoaster ride to wellness!!!

Surgery May 20th...5 weeks post op today... the last few days I've felt really down and just hating life, crying for no real reason! I know there will be ups and downs but figured I would of been feeling down right after surgery... is this normal or is it something to get used to for a while??!!!??

Premier Protein...pre made... I love the chocolate. Also liked the strawberry pre op but can't stand it now. Never tried the vanilla. I get mine at costco (18 pack for $25 )

I agree. Premier is the best!!!.. but I also no longer like the strawberry after surgery... which is a bummer but I put my chocolate in the freezer a little bit before drinking so it has a nice cold semi slushy texture! ...mmmmm

I have three favorites since starting pureed: grilled chicken and yellow pepper, lime, avacado, a little salsa and dab of Water (so it would actually puree!). pureed chicken, hummus & lots of lemon juice... last but not least low fat refried Beans mix in low fat sour cream and salsa (liquid part).. moist enough to get in, not too think

Gonna ask it.... sleeved the 20th... I have yet to have a solid BM. Shortly after drinking my Protein Shakes (premier) I can get some ...um... runnies out...anyone else having doodee issues?

I took the prescribed pain stuff for two days after and haven't taken any since. Lots of walking, rest when u need it but don't become a vegetable. Do your daily stuff (with limitations!). I like cold Water better than warm (everyone different!) For my crushed meds I put them in a lil shot glass, squirting a little Water Enhancer flavoring w/ a dab of water and down it. So much better than the med taste! I put my "meals" in a small container measured out and just eat slow ...loving greek yogurt, cream of chicken Soup and sonic ice! You'll know when you've taken too big of a bite, or eaten too much, it's a feeling like you've swallowed a big gulp of air on accident and gets stuck in your chest... gas pains were worse while in the hospital, at home I was so relived when I could toot! Hmmm... once I was at home and now in a little routine I have no qualms about my decision and can tell this is exactly what I needed to be successful at living healthy! Take it one (quick) day at a time !

Sleeved on the 20th... I have to say since surgery- its been going by with a blink of an eye.... each day is a learning experience (hot drink, cold drink, too fast, too big of a spoonful...). I was crazy nervous up until surgery (even laying in pre op)...but I am so glad I did it. What a crazy ride this has been.. looking forward to each day!
-
Surgery was wednesday and I couldn't be more pleased with having so many toots!
-
...and we're off to the hospital!!!!...
-
It's almost time!!!!! Wednesday cannot get here soon enough....what a trippy ride this has been!

I was approved thru Aetna and it was less than two weeks To hear back.
