I was sleeved on the 27th. The first 36 hours were a little rough and I had lots of gas pain. Walking definitely helps. I started taking the liquid pain medicine right away to get ahead of the pain and discomfort and that helped a lot. 2 days post op I spent a day with my sister shopping and walking around. I was amazed I felt good enough and pretty much felt normal. I'm 4 days post op down 14lbs and feel generally good besides being tired of Jello and popsicles.

Hey guys. I'm going in for surgery tomorrow morning. Wish me luck! Side note: I only had to do 2 days of pre-op liquid diet and it was EXTREMELY difficult for me. I feel bad complaining because I have read about some people having to do 3 whole weeks of liquid before surgery. Anyway I'm a little nervous but I know this surgery is the right decision. Let the losing begin.

I'm going with Dr. Titus Duncan of True Results Atlanta. $12,950 for the surgery and a year's worth of follow-up care. I researched Mexico but didn't feel comfortable with the level of risk if anything were to go wrong.

Hello. I'm getting sleeved this month by Dr. Titus Duncan of Peachtree Bariatrics and True Results Atlanta. Has anyone else used him and if so how was your experience? Also has anyone had the procedure in a surgery center vs a major hospital?
May Sleevers...where are you?

Is anyone experiencing fatigue? I dont have any energy. I know Im not reaching my Protein goals but I can barely stomach the Protein Shakes anymore. I get dressed go to work them pretty much come home and rest the rest of the night. The doc says I should be starting to exercise but I don't have the strength. Hope this is temporary.
