I had my surgery approved with Cigna as my plan didn't have it as exclusion. One of my surgeons mentioned that some reconstructive surgery such as the belly area can be medically approved but not arms or legs. I am really only thinking maybe of doing belly and boob that have lost mass and now sag even more, lol. Questiins: anyone have these done and have medically approved? Anyone have these done at same time? Curious of healing time if I do both at same time before I go back to work. I was back to work 5 days after sleeve

anything special you did any chest days? You look amazing only over 3 months out and havent really felt need to cheat yet. Yes I wish I could go to mexican joint and chow down on chips and salsa, but the scale is being my friend right now. So not worth it right now.

My cigna plan was 3 month nut appts. Then only waited 5 days for approval

My husband told me same thing that I don't snore anyine!

Feeling like my mind and body weren't on same page for a few weeks

The months after surgery dropped about lb a day, then started having some stalls but noticed my stalls would be from not getting all my protein in or week before pms. Other than that I also notice if I exercise a little each day that helps stalls

I got my plan administrator to call and find out. Cigna not sure why letter was sent stating he wouldn't be covered. But as long as he goes through the motions of 3 months nutrition as I did and deemed medically necessary he should be good to go. Had my plan admin in NY on phone last night handling, cigna had to call doc this am to let them know. Whoooohoooh

Any couples who have had surgery under same cigna insurance policy. I had surgery in june no problem. They are saying my husband is not allowed to have it. He was suppose to have first consult appt in am and was just told this. Me and my plan admin are having a come to Jesus meeting in am as he told me there would be no issues of him trying to start this process

Try techs didn't give enough local anesthesia then stuck far down and made me come off table. I cried whole time. Never again another spinal tap. Kinda my final events made me decide on gastric sleeve. Was never going through that again

I was diagnosed last year with ptc. I stopped on my own taking sulfur meds after surgery (consult your doc) and I will go for another optic nerve pic once I hit 200 lbs. To make sure swelling down. Haven't had any headaches or vision loss since surgery

during my 2 week pre op shakes my 2 bosses asked me 2 different times to go pick up Breakfast for office since I was 1st one to office those mornings. I told them they would have to send someone else, not in my best interest and with them knowing I was having my surgery didn't feel it was considerate of them. So know how you feel.

I am only 9 weeks post op and and knew that was a danger zone. I agree so much sodium and sugars in the sauces so I chose what was best for me. Only 2 places I don't even dare chinese and BBQ joints (being as I am in sc). Sometimes I think Co workers think it's a no brained to jump up go to lunch but for us it does take thought. I think they sometimes just think I am being difficult as they don't see what's so hard about going to lunch.

Boss took whole office to lunch today of course they choose chinese buffet. Therefore I am not joining rest of office for lunch as there isn't healthy protein options at chinese buffet???? I know I am making better choice for me but feeling isolated.

They give you fluids in hospital and you have some swelling. that will surpass in few days and as long as you stick with your post op you will lose weight. I lost about a lb a day once I got home 2 days after surgery

I told family and friends first when I started process. Then throughout told most everyone. I worked my but off before surgery to lose 40 lbs so not like surgery was the only thing making me lose weight. You are gaining knowledge to use with this surgery together to lose. Plus if they don't pay my bills or walk in my shoes I don't care what they think. I have found everyone has been very supportive. You may also be an inspiration for someone who may be secretly considering it!

I was out 4 days, but I have desk job and everything went textbook. If I didn't have other vacations planned within month would have taken longer
