  1. I was back at work 2 weeks later. Everyone is different. I was still sore. However, my sister was feeling great less than a week after. It all depends
  2. I definitely can relate. Granted, I was pretty dramatic and sassy before surgery lolol. I find myself getting irritated with my boyfriend. And super annoyed with my 2 year old, for well, being a 2 year old. Your body is changing. Big things happening in there! It'll get better
  3. Maybe not a month from now, but it will pass! It was the best decision of my life. It's rough at first, but I think they tend to try to "scare" you. It is a BIG adjustment. It's a life change! You will do great!
  4. A hida scan watches radioactive material move through your digestive system. My goodness, hope they figure it out ???? And don't regret your surgery! It's tough now, but there's a light at the end of your tunnel ????
  5. Prayers to you! You will do great! This is the best decision you're making to get that life on track to a healthier, happier you

  9. The first one is me at 330# (August 2014) Second is a few weeks ago at 190#! Surgery was 2/3/2015. Before and afters are my favorite
  10. Hello! I had surgery 2/3/2015. Total I've lost 130# from pre op diet and surgery(80ish from surgery). Down to 190# and it is sloooooow moving now. I get 1000-1200 calories in a day. Exercise varies for me.
  11. My gosh. Ive been eating a pack of gum a day ????
  12. Yay! I've never been so excited to see 'overweight' on my BMI scale! It's the little things, really!
  13. I know it's probably okay, but I have been drinking decaf coffee with a splash of chocolate milk lately. They told me coffee was a no after surgery but I don't understand why decaf is terrible? Someone elaborate for me, pleaaaaase?
  14. I think age has a ton to do with it. I'm 23, 130# down (75 from surgery 2/3/2015) and the loosest skin I have is on my arms. And even there, it's not much. Try to lose as much as you can now.
  15. My sister is 21. She's from Iowa. I'm 23, from South Dakota. The struggle is real. Commercials are ridiculous. I have an AWESOME Pinterest board full of recipes. You're welcome to add me if you want alyssalynne2013 I feel great! Still would like to lose a good 50 lbs. But they're slowly coming off. This part is hard. But, 3 months out and I feel I'm doing pretty well. And no worries! I don't think you're a creepy stalker, I feel like that aaaalllll the time when I try talking to anyone ha
  16. And, I've got minimal excess skin because of the weight I lost before surgery ???? it's tough, especially after you're on to eating 'real' food. The temptation and head hunger haunt me. It's hard to resist!
  17. I had my surgery February of THIS year. glad you're doing great! You're at the exact same place as my sister! Had her surgery last Monday She's working her way out of the 300's herself you'll get there! ????

  19. Hello all! My name is Alyssa, im 23 and live in South Dakota. I'm having a hard time finding people to talk to about my surgery. (2/3/2015) my sister had hers this past week so I can't talk to her about the fun things (constipation, exercise, etc) yet. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just me? Lolol anyways. I'm down 130# since November (pre op requirements, included) a total of 70# lost from surgery. I've plateaued at 197. My gosh I am so disappointed the scale doesn't move so rapidly anymore. In dyer need of motivation, here! ????????
  20. Hiii! How did it go?! Hope all is well! I had my surgery Feb. after 6 months of supervision/insurance business. So far since November, I'm down 130#. Would love to hear how your progress is going
  21. Hello! Welcome! I'm Aly, 23, and had my surgery in February this year! Good luck on your journey:)
  22. I haven't, but as a nurse, I see it as a problem soo, so much. People after bariatric surgery don't drink as much and your kidneys don't like that. Try to up your H2O intake!
  23. Congrats! I'm in the 100 club as well after being stalled at 200.6 for WEEKS! Same mini goal! 198.8 today! attachment=53544:ImageUploadedByBariatricPal1431649023.238963.jpg]
