I got sleeved 4/27/15 and I have a hard time getting protein down as well because it's thicker. It helped me to walk while I sip. I try to walk as much as possible. Walking truly helps with EVERYTHING!

I will have had the surgery one week ago tomorrow. I must say that it was harder than I thought. A lot of people that I knew who've had the sleeve, said they felt wonderful by day 4. I felt pretty good in the hospital. While they were doing the surgery, they found I needed hernia repair and they repaired it while they were in there. I knew that was a possibility. They sent me home the next day. When I got home, I really started feeling the pain. And it worried me! But I talked with the surgeons office and they said this was normal and just the healing process. I feel much better today and realize that it just takes some people longer to heal... I have to remember that they did two things during the one surgery and they both need the time to heal. Anybody else experienced or experiencing something similar?
